debian et gpu nvidia pascal

Bonjour

j'ai testé ma GTX1060 3Go sur une debian testing avec son driver actuel , puis le driver expérimental et enfin avec nouveau

pour nouveau le kernel est pas content chipset inconnu (pas de bureau , ecran noir avec pointeur de la souris actif ) systeme actif possible d activer une console
pour le driver de stretch idem (sans l erreur du kernel )
pour le driver d'experimental idem aussi que ci dessus

je garde au chaud l installation pour test au fur et a mesure des évolutions de stretch.

ps: il reste le driver du constructeur ça ne m'intéresse pas de tester , pour les personnes qui vont acheter un portable ou un pc de bureau avec un gpu pascal nvidia ça laisse pas beaucoup de choix   scratchhead.gif

comment steam va gérer ça sur sa plateforme linux  roll  (vu le nombre de cartes qui se vend tous les jours )

    - Fixed a regression that caused applications using indirect GLX

      modeset of the X server to display blank if the features requested

reste a savoir si le kernel actuel est suffisant  roll
et si cuda est compatible aussi (pour les utilisateurs de blender par exemple )

pour le driver libre ça risque d'etre plus compliqué  hmm

ps: pour les portables amd et nvidia devraient sortir leurs puces graphiques pour ce matériel (peut etre déja en cour ) , je n'ai pas d'infos

donc si vous avez prévu de remplacer votre carte graphique , debian stretch fonctionne (pour l instant qu avec le driver non-free avec nouveau c 'est écran noir hmm  ) avec les series GTX10xx

pour le tuto nvidia quand stretch sera stable , le tuto va etre hard tongue , plein de nouveau paquet hmm

ce driver prend en compte vulkan (comme les versions win )

sur l'installation du driver 367 quelques précisions

le paquet "libopengl0-glvnd-nvidia " remplace le libopengl0 et le libopengl0-nvidia   (ces 2 derniers ont été supprimés de la liste sur synaptic )
le paquet "libglx0-glvnd-nvidia"       remplace libglx0 et libglx0-nvidia    (ces 2 derniers ont été supprimés de la liste sur synaptic )
le paquet "libgl1-gbvnd-nvidia-glx"  remplace libgl1-nvidia-glx    (synaptic me propose les deux encore )
le paquet "libegl1-gbvnd-nvidia" remplace  libegl1-nvidia           (synaptic me propose les deux encore )
le paquet "libgles2-gbvnd-nvidia" remplace libgles2-nvidia       (synaptic me propose les deux encore )

je pense que les dépendances sont pas encore parfaites ( pour une installation neuve pas trop de soucis )  sur une installation a mettre a jour faut etre vigilant
idem pour ceux qui utilise cuda (j'ai du faire une réinstallation et un reboot ) un paquet version 6 était encore présent  (sans son image version 7 )
j'ai pas testé un autoclean , je n ai fait qu un apt-get update .

PS: j'installe tous les paquets relatif au driver non-free (et cuda ) dans sa dernière version , par le tuto (wiki D_F ) tous les paquets ne sont pas installés , ce qui élimine certains soucis smile

Nota: les paquets remplacés sont en en "transitional" donc vide , c'est pour cela que je n'ai pas eu trop de problèmes ,
j'ai fait un autoclean pour mettre a jour mon cache

un model GTX1060 6Go tourne aussi sous debian stretch sans problème , je pense qu il y a trés peut de différence entre la 3 et 6Go

un driver 370xx est dans expérimental  tongue
