Voici, sous Windows, le gestionnaire de périphériques de ma noubelle tour :

Je m'y attendais un peu.
Carte-mère : ASUS PRIME Z390M-PLUS

Je suis un peu dans cette situation-là :

Pas de carte réseau détectée.

Si j'ai bien pigé, il me faut compiler, sur une autre bécane, le pilote de cette carte réseau ? Ou bien télécharger un paquet précis ?

Bonsoir

le noyau des backports de stretch risque de faire fonctionner cette carte réseau intel I219-V

=> https://packages.debian.org/source/stre … orts/linux

ici en bas de page tu dois avoir le .deb a installer avec "dpkg -i"    =>  https://packages.debian.org/stretch-bac … po.5-amd64

il te faudra activer les backports sur ton sources.list ensuite pour le maintenir a jour
tu le récupère avec une autre machine sur une clé usb et tu l'installe avec


dpkg -i lenomdupaquet.deb
 


un reboot et tu dois avoir le réseau

a l'installation tu n'a pas eu de problème de réseau ?
si justement debian n'est pas installé tongue , tu a testé une image iso de buster ? et ça ne fonctionne pas .
ps: des fois je suis long a percuter ..........   old_geek.gif

de plus j'ai une machine en Kabylake (carte mère Asus) qui tourne avec cette carte réseau , je me souvient plus comment j'ai installé stretch  roll
mais pour buster aucun souci , je te confirme ça fonctionne

a priori j'ai réussi a l'époque a installer stretch   tongue

un problème réseau mais après l'installation suite a la mise a jour du bios de la carte mère.

ps: de mémoire j'ai une carte réseau en USB (pour le PI3 et les PC récalcitrant  hmm  ) bien reconnu sous GNU Linux
de forte chance que ce soit ce qui m'a permit de lancer l'installation et ensuite de me dépanner lorsque la carte est tombé en panne .
maintenant ça tourne sous buster sans problème

Ben justement : non, pas d'install possible. La carte réseau n'est pas détectée.

J'ai un peu de mal à comprendre.

Donc, je devrais pomper le driver quelque part, le compiler sur une autre bécane Debian, et le placer sur un deuxième périph USB ?
Sur mes bécanes :

Donc :
- soit je trouve le driver et le compile
- soit je pompe les ISO DVD3 etc de Stretch, en espérant que, dedans, il y aura ce driver ?
- soit j'utilise un convertisseur (je l'ai) USB-Rj45

J'ai bien suivi ?
Je vais tenter ça, déjà : le convertisseur. Je donne le retour wink

12 H OO : ça marche avec le convertisseur. J'installe en EFI. Mais GParted live ne fonctionne pas. J'ai dû utiliser le CD de Malekal, contenant Wizard patition.

oui la carte réseau USB ça dépanne bien

le DVD1 , l' installateur s'occupe de tout , pourquoi tu parle de gparted ?

tu utilise le DVD1 de stretch ? (c'est marqué au démarrage si il démarre en EFI ).

Le DVD1, j'en ai fait une ISO d'installation de Stretch.
Mais là, le matériel est très très récent.

J'ai déconnecté le convertisseur, et ça marche. Bravo, Robert !

il te faut maintenant un bon sources.list avec les backports , peut être installé le méta paquet linux-image-amd64 a partir des backports

vérifier les erreurs et si besoin installer les firmwares


journalctl -r -p err
 



buster est préférable a stretch pour cette machine (dernière génération intel ) , mais bon ça devrait fonctionner  smile

a priori tu n'a pas besoin de firmware selon le retour des erreurs , si tu a le noyau 4.19

ps: si le noyau ne détecte pas le matériel , il ne va pas réclamer le firmware , bien vérifier que tu est sous le 4.19 des backports

pour le gpu intel installe ce paquet "mesa-utils"  et fait la commande glxinfo -B


apt-get install mesa-utils
 



puis teste avec


glxinfo -B
 


tu peu aussi regarder ceci


dmesg | grep drm

on peu aussi regarder le log de X  (ça dépend de ton bureau et si tu est ou pas sous wayland )

ton gpu est mal reconnu

j'ai pas compris ce que tu a fais exactement a la fin du #8

pour les drm (le grep) je suis un peu étonné , au moins confirmé que le init du gpu est correct
un exemple pour une carte nvidia + driver propriétaire

a fonctionné.

Je pense aussi que Buster serait plus maniable là-dessus.
Je n'aime pas du tout ma démarche : reculer devant une difficulté... Hum.... Mais là, il y a peut-être bel et bien une incompatibilité de l'OS avec le hard.
Je télécharge une ISO rc2. Pas le netinst : une grosse ISO, comme j'en ai l'habitude pour Stretch.

de plus dans buster =>  https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/linux
dans les backports de buster tu a le noyau 4.2.9 disponible
sur du matériel aussi récent il vaut mieux utiliser la stable (que la old-stable )

Je n'arrive pas à l'installer en EFI. Mon BIOS ne passera pas en legacy.
J'ai même le dernier boot live de GParted : il ne se lance pas totalement : je n'arrive pas à l'interface graphique ni en mode texte, sans doute à cause de la carte vidéo.

J'ai y passé la journée, hier.

J'ai une préférence pour un partitionnement graphique.

Je vais retenter le tuto de Stretch. On verra.

Il me faut :
1 partition EFI, bootable
1 parttion swap
1 partition /home. Je peux la séparer, comme d'habitude, sur le deuxième disque. Le SSD est le disque système.

Précision : dans le BIOS, celui-ci me voir deux Debian. 500 Go sur le SSD. Deux fois...
MAIS le BIOS ,ne le voit pas en EFI, contrairement au support USB que j'ai utilisé pour installer.

le dvd1 de buster il prend en charge L' EFI et même le secure-key de microsoft , je vois pas le problème .
sinon un dist-upgrade de stretch vers buster , si tu a gardé l'installation
des disques différents ou tu a tout sur un seul disque , windows et debian ?

J'ai réussi à passer le BIOS en Legacy... et Buster s'est parfaitement installé.
Je n'avais pas eu ton message avant de faire ça.
Il y a deux disques :
SSD : / et /swap
1 To : /home.
Plus deux partitions : l'une pour les sauvegardes de root, l'autre pour les sauvegardes des autres.
J'ai tenté le coup avec le DVD 2. Peut-être le DVD1 aurait mieux fait l'affaire ? Possible. Il a marché sur l'une de mes autres bécanes Linux lorsqu'il en était encore au DVD1. Mais BIOS, pas EFI.

J'apprendrai ça plus tard : Stretch ne m'avait posé aucun problème pour l'installer plusieurs fois en EFI.

Je vois, ci-dessus :

Pour le lien sur les noyaux des backports : j'ai du mal à voir celui à télécharger. Il y en a beaucoup.

Et juste un léger détail : c'est uniquement en user que l'on peut créer des lanceurs sur le bureau.
Sous Stretch, je n'en n'ai qu'un : WebMin.desktop , plus un lien symbolique vers le password  de WebMin.
On doit pouvoir arranger ça ?
Je cherche. Je me suis fait un script pour appeler WebMin, mais le lien symbolique va me manquer.

C'est très étrange : je ne le "sens" pas.
Stretch, sur un socket 1150, est nettement plus réactif. Alors que Buster l'est moins, et surtout se comporte bizarrement. Il est lourd, et presque lent.
Il est possible que je gère mal le hardware.

il sort d'ou ce noyau ?

pour stretch tu a juste a activer les backports sur ton sources.list et a faire


apt-get --reinstall install -t stretch-backports linux-image-amd64 linux-headers-amd64
 



le 5.2.9 actuellement est sur testing et sur les backports de buster.
ta machine n'a pas besoin d un noyau aussi récent
j'ai un doute sur l'intégrité de ta debian  roll  (stretch ou buster on sait pas trop )

a moins que tu ai un cpu moyen , mais moi c'est fluide avec un 4770 en 1150 et buster

C'est un i5 9600k qu'il a.
Du coup ça devrait être très fluide le système surtout avec xfce qui est light.....

Le kernel des backports posent peut-être problème sur buster.
A voir en gardant le kernel officiel de buster (le 4.19)

Debian s'alourdit peut-être un peu entre chaque nouvelle release, mais de là à rendre un pc ultra lent, hormis un pc entrée de gamme je pourrais comprendre.. mais là, c'est incompréhensible..
En + tu es sur un SSD Samsung Evo 860, donc la lenteur est clairement anormale...
Ton soucis a pas l'air matériel mais + logiciel non.??

Vu que sous stretch tout va bien et que sous buster ça foire,  le problème vient pas du matériel.
Sous buster tout est reconnu puisque c'est le cas sous stretch déjà (pour ton pc)
Du coup tu es sous buster avec les backports activé, c'est ça.??

Que donne le retour de cette commande ??

Je commence à y voir plus clair... Je l'ai sans doute mal installé. Il démarre un peu comme mon serveur, et à l'arrêt aussi : OK en vert, etc... Bizarre. Je n'ai pas ça sous Stretch.
N'empêche que vous avez eu raison de me faire reformater bas niveau le HD.

Ce matos est et très récent et très performant. En live, sous CloneZilla, c'est impressionnant : près de 10 Go /mn.

Hier soir, j'ai connecté un dd  d'1 To en USB3, via une rallonge "alimentée", pas une rallonge classique. La panique, Bon sang !!
Qu'en pensez-vous ? Une bonne réinstall ?

c'est du 1151 le i5 9600k et pas du 1150 comme indiqué sur son #21.
que ça fonctionne sous stretch mieux que sous buster je suis étonné mais bon ..........
la carte mère doit être en 370/390 comme chipset
je vois pas du tout pourquoi on parle de stretch avec un noyau 5.2 et de socket 1150   tongue
