[Xorg] Nom des outputs

Bonjour,

Après avoir bataillé plusieurs jours sur la configuration correcte de Xorg, je poste ici afin d'avoir un complément d'informations qui pourraient par la suite m'aider à résoudre mon affichage.

Pour situer le problème j'utilise une version Lenny de Debian minimaliste installée sur une CF. Ma carte mère propose 3 sorties d'affichage: VGA-LVDS1-LVDS2.
Driver intel 945GME.
J'utilise un écran "exotique" en résolution 1440x900.

Mes premières config de Xorg sur la Lenny avec le driver stable "xserver-xorg-video-intel" ne me permettaient pas d'avoir accès a un 1440x900, même en rajoutant les modes a la main.
J'ai donc updaté le driver intel dans sa dernière version Testing. L'affichage sur mon écran restait tronqué mais le mode 1440x900 était bien détecté directement (un xrandr me renvoyait ce mode pour la sortie LVDS2), mais j'étais pluggé sur la LVDS1...

Puis j'ai installé une version Testing (6.0 beta 2) + gnome sur ma CF pour modifier via les paramètres (systèmes-préférences-écran) la résolution.
Il m'affiche alors 3 écrans (VGA LVDS1 LVDS2). En désactivant l'écran VGA et LVDS1 je pouvais choisir alors pour le LVDS2 ma résolution de 1440x900 (je ne connaissais pas la limitation des CRTCs).
Ce test étant concluant, je reviens sur ma version de debian stable d'origine avec driver en testing.

Je modifie mon xorg conf pour désactiver toutes mes sorties sauf la LVDS2.
Seulement, comment spécifier clairement quelle sortie video sur la carte désactiver ? (Comment peut il faire le lien entre le LVDS1/2 que xrandr me retourne et le nom de mes monitors section)

Par défaut je mets donc exactement le même nom que xrandr et passe l'option ignore a true.
Je laisse uniquement mon ecran LVDS2 avec preferredMode a 1440x900 (vu que Xrandr trouvait ce mode par défaut)

Seulement après un startx j'ai un écran noir (avec des petites raies)
Je regarde mon log de Xorg et pourtant tout semble Ok,
Aussi comment vérifier qu'un startx fonctionne correctement ?
J'aurais voulu après remodifier directement via Xrandr mais je n'ai pas de terminal d'ouvert.

Ce qui diffère avec les principales configs et option détaillées sur le site de Xorg, c'est qu'il y a 2 sorties LVDS sur la carte et que ces 2 sorties n'ont pas la meme propriété (je ne peux utiliser que la LVDS2).
Sur des autres tests (fait quand j'étais en versuion stable) un startx ne m'affichais pas une bonne résolution mais j'avais quand meme quelque chose avec un terminal (et je pouvais ensuite utiliser xrandr).
