Pb mpd

Bonjour,

J'ai installé hier un serveur / client MPD. J'ai bien galéré mais ça marche pour le moment. J'ai changé le port mais ça me turlupine.

Je ne comprends pas pourquoi j'ai ce message:

 mpd
Jan 06 10:47 : socket: Failed to bind to '[::1]:6600': Address already in use


que le port soit commenté ou 6600 par défaut.


en client j'ai installé Ario et un plugin pour mettre sur le panel de XFCE.

Ton fichier de configuration mpd il est dans /etc ou dans ton /home ?
Tu peux le donner?

Systemd lance automatiquement mpd au démarrage (= le service est "enabled" ), quand tu rappelles mpd avec ton user, l'instance est déjà activé, d'où le message d'erreur.
Donc soit tu désactives mpd au démarrage avec:

systemctl disable mpd.service


Soit tu copies ton fichier ton configuration dans /etc (/etc/mpd.conf).

je garde le fichier de conf dans le /home pour plein de bonnes raisons.

Après, je sais pas si c'est important, mais je viens de regarder et dans le démarrage automatique de XFCE j'ai

J'ai désactivé au démarrage mais toujours le même pb.

La seule solution pour le moment , c'est d'utiliser un autre port dans le fichier de conf.

Autre remarque, je n'ai pas configurer la sortie audio. J'utiilise Pulseaudio mais dans le fichier de conf j'ai laissé Alsa et ça fonctionne hormis que j'arrive pas à augmenter ou baisser le son (c'est toujours 100%).

Les deux commandes suivantes devraient te permettre de savoir ce qui occupe le port 6600 sur ton système :

netstat -pln | grep 6600


tcp        0      0 127.0.0.1:6600          0.0.0.0:*               LISTEN      10643/mpd    

 

ps -fp 10643



UID        PID  PPID  C STIME TTY          TIME CMD
mpd      10643     1  1 02:19 ?        00:09:50 /usr/bin/mpd /etc/mpd.conf


La commande netstat te permet de récupérer le PID (identifiant unique) du processus écoutant sur le port 6600, et la commande ps te permet de connaître l’utilisateur ayant lancé le processus (colonne UID).
Si l’UID est "mpd", c’est la version système de MPD qui tourne, lancée par systemd au démarrage. Si au contraire l’UID est celui de ton utilisateur courant, c’est celui-ci qui a lancé la session MPD en cours, probablement via l’exécution automatique au lancement de ta session XFCE.

Usage:
ps [options]

Essayez 'ps --aide <simple|liste|sortie|threads|divers|tous>'
  ou 'ps --aide <s|l|o|h|d|t>'
