TouchPad non reconnu

Hello world,

Alors, il s'agit d'un TouchPad synaptics (SMBus) bien reconnu par windows 10 (en dual boot, no comment smile). L'ordi c'est un portable essentielB smart mouv 1506, j'y ai installé Debian la semaine dernière et depuis j'erre et j'erre et j'erre.

Un peu monotone smile

Je suis passé d'un noyau 3.16 à 4.8 mais ça n'a rien changé. Je précise que tout le reste marche bien, à l'exception du clic droit de la souris un peu erratique.

Hello Wob,

062a:0000 évoquerait volontiers un identifiant USB (Creative Labs Optical mouse ?) et 'clic droit de la souris un peu erratique' donnerait volontiers envie de voir la sortie de la commande 'lsusb' neutral

Hmm, pas loin c'est une NGS optique de secours... d'ailleurs ça ne change rien qu'elle soit branchée ou pas. Je précise au passage qu'il n'y a pas de config particulière TouchPad dans le «BIOS» et que les paquets synaptics sont bien présents.

Bon je tenterai 'lsusb' quand la machine ne sera plus squattée par Yakari wink

Ok, on peut donc considérer que la sortie de la commande 'xinput --list-props' concernait la fameuse souris 'NGS optique de secours' ; rien concernant le pavé tactile, à part ça bien sûr :

Hello !

Ce fichier 50-synaptics.conf est celui qui vient par défaut avec l'installation du paquet xserver-xorg-input-synaptics ; Pegatron est un OEM (dont on a entendu parler il y a quelques années), il s'agit probablement du constructeur de la carte mère.

Impossible, bien évidemment, de trouver une doc décente concernant l'ordinateur portable Smart'MOUV 1506... par contre la doc du Smart'MOUV 1501 précise que la combinaison de touches <Fn>+<F1> active/désactive le pavé tactile... Tu ne mentionnes pas le résultat de cette manip de base dans le message initial.

(À noter que le retour de la commande lsusb présente pas mal de similitudes avec celui obtenu sur un Medion Akoya E6240T -- un utilisateur de Kubuntu 14.04 avait également un petit souci de pavé tactile, entre autres, voir ici. La doc mentionne d'ailleurs un touchpad lock intégré au bidule.)

Sur le 1506, le raccourci d'activation/désactivation c'est Fn+F9 et ça ne marche pas. Il y a en effet un petit bouton-voyant d'activation/désactivation du pad sur le pad même, ce qui est idiot puisque placé là il arrive régulièrement qu'on clique dessus par accident. Bref : oui j'ai commencé par vérifier tout ça dès le début big_smile

J'avais vu aussi le lien que tu donnes, mais ce qu'il dit n'a pas l'air très réjouissant, de ce que j'en comprends, je ne suis pas germanophone.

A propos de Pegatron, qu'est-ce que ça veut dire subsystem? Qu'est-ce qui pourrait bloquer à ce niveau? S'il s'agit du SMBus, est-ce que ça ne pourrait pas se passer plutôt du côté d'Intel?... Je dis ça j'en sais rien, je ne comprends pas bien où se situe et se branche le touchpad, matériellement et logiciellement...

Pour en finir avec Pegatron, j'ai du mal à identifier précisément le constructeur de la carte mère:

Probable effectivement que Boulanger, à l'instar de Medion, se contente de passer commande auprès de Pegatron pour des machines construites et assemblées à Taïwan (un 'lspci -nnk' devrait te renvoyer un certain nombre d'occurrences de 'Pegatron').

Je suppose que tu as également scruté avec attention le fichier Xorg.0.log (en particulier à partir de la ligne 'ABI class: X.Org XInput driver, version machin') sans rien trouver d'intéressant ? Quid de 'lsmod | grep hid' ?

L'interface Intel 82801 implémentée semble prise en charge par le noyau depuis la version 3.15, mais pour le fun tu pourrais jouer avec les i2c-tools, quand tu en auras terminé avec Yakari bien sûr wink

Bonne suite, tu auras peut-être plus de chance sous Debian 9 'Stretch' et libinput !

Par ailleurs, est-ce que libinput changerait quelque chose, le touchpad n'étant manifestement pas reconnu en amont par le kernel linux ? (Ici aussi je ne suis pas du tout sûr de savoir ce que je dis...)

En tout cas merci pour les pistes, j'aurais sans doute été incapable d'éclaircir la confusion avec la souris et d'identifier l'origine du problème.

Pour la petite histoire, j'étais jusqu'ici sur un Mac en fin de vie dont le disque dur donne des signes de faiblesse. J'utilisais occasionnellement ce PC offert sur lequel je pense migrer définitivement.

Rien concernant le pavé tactile semble-t-il, mais le retour de la commande 'lsmod' montre tout de même que les modules i2c_hid et hid_generic sont chargés ; tu aurais d'ailleurs une vue moins restrictive avec :

lsmod | egrep 'hid|i2c'


Pour aller plus loin et se faire une idée de ce que voit effectivement le noyau :

Comme tu l'as certainement vu, le paquet xserver-xorg-input-libinput n'a pas été rétroporté ; il doit y avoir une ou plusieurs raisons, outre la disponibilité des développeurs... compiler et installer ce nouveau pilote sur 'Jessie' serait un peu hasardeux. Quelques idées totalement en vrac, mais moins risquées :

# vérifier que le système est laptop-aware
apt-cache policy laptop-detect

# y a-t-il un groupe input hyper branché ?
cat /etc/group | grep input

# lister tous les paquets XInput installés
dpkg -l | grep xserver-xorg-in


En dernier recours, il y aurait peut-être le paquet xserver-xorg-input-mtrack ?

Bonsoir,
rien du côtés des paramètres ? J'ai connu un problème identique et la solution, après des heures stériles de ligne de commande, était une très discrète case à décocher. Enfin, c'était sous KDE et les causes sont peut-être différentes. Je ne veux pas faire perdre du temps à personne...

@potemkine non c'est pas idiot je l'avais pas précisé mais ça peut être utile par ailleurs : le pavé tactile n’apparaît pas du tout dans les paramètres.

Dois-je réitérer en me re-rajoutant au groupe input avec la commande gpasswd après m'y être supprimé ? (suis-je clair ?)

Bon. De toute façon il s'avère que cette souris n'est pas erratique que du clic droit ni que sur cet ordi.

Bref, je vais sagement suivre ton conseil et attendre avec ferveur l'arrivée du divin stretch qui ne devrait plus tarder. Bien que je ne sois pas très croyant hmm
(cela dit si quelqu'un a une idée géniale...)

En tout cas c'était un plaisir, à la revoyure, qui ne devrait pas tarder non plus : j'ai un ventilo qui a l'air de tourner cinoque.
Et pour filer un coup de main à l'occasion dès que je pourrais, maintenant que je fais partie de la secte wink
