Openbox + configuration compton

Bonsoir,

J'utilise Openbox et j'ai compton comme compositeur d'affichage. J'aimerais modifier l'apparence de mes fenêtres. J'aimerais mettre les barres de titres en transparence. Le man ne m'aide pas des masses. J'aimerais trouver des exemples de configuration pour comprendre, or je ne trouve pas grand chose, j'ai l'impression que compton n'est pas souvent utilisé? Pour le moment mon autostart lance juste compton -bC (donc juste le daemon et ne pas mettre d'ombres aux fenêtres). Je suppose que c'est l'option -e pour mettre de la transparence aux barres de titre. Y a-t-il moyen de différencier les barres actives et non actives?

compton -i pour les fenêtres inactives

par exemple

compton -e 0.8 -i  0.3

je te suggère de lui créer un fichier de configuration à ton compton

par exemple .comptonrc dans ton home

Après tu lanceras ton compton de cette façon :

compton --config /chemin/vers/ton/.comptonrc -b



tu as des exemples configuration ici :

le mieux étant de commencer par la configuration minimum (un copier coller de la config par défaut située dans /etc/xdg/compton.conf)
et de la manipuler un peu en testant des réglages.

Bonjour,

je ne connais pas Openbox mais vérifie que tu n'a pas un gestionnaire de composition pour les fenêtres comme dans XFCE (apparemment non). Par prudence le désactiver, je pense avant de lancer Compton.
Dans le doute, qu'on me corrige. smile

Il n'y a pas de compositeur d'intégré par défaut dans openbox je pense (pas sûr à 100%) mais normalement openbox est vraiment brut par défaut. smile

Impec! Je suis en train de tester la config de duncanlock provenant du lien que tu as mis frei! J'ai donc juste modifié pour la transparence. Ça marche bien jusqu'à maintenant. Il y a quand même une floppée d'options pour compton! Par contre, j'ai mis pour une transparence générale pour les barres de titre car je ne vois pas d'options pour distinguer les barres actives et les non-actives. Mais c'est pas trop grave. Et apparemment, la transparence du fond des fenêtres fonctionne globalement sauf pour thunar qui ne prend pas la transparence pour le fond.

Quelqu'un sait ce qu'est les DND windows? de l'option "no-dnd-shadow = true;"

Je testerai ta config plus tard frei et regarderai les différences smile

pour le DND window si je comprend bien la source il s'agirait de fenêtre n'ayant pas d'interaction avec le pointeur de la souris autre que le survol ou le clic (genre notification ou widgets je pense)

pour l'opacité des fenêtres inactives il y a cette ligne :

inactive-opacity-override = false;

inactive-opacity-override = true;    # Inactive opacity set by 'inactive-opacity' overrides value of _NET_WM_OPACITY.
