oui c'est peut etre meme le driver vga

que dit le Xorg.0.log  ?

désinstalle le 304 et tente de tout purger comme dit plus haut et retente l installation avec dkms (wiki)

c'est dans /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-nouveau.conf

et cela est fait par l installation du driver

Les messages se croisent et ça met un peu le bordel.

Je reprends :
1- je déinstalle

apt-get remove nvidia-legacy-304xx-kernel-dkms


2- je crée /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-nouveau.conf et je mets dedans :

# You need to run "update-initramfs -u" after editing this file.

# see #580894
blacklist nouveau


3- je fais une purge comme dit plus haut
4- j'installe le pilote propriétaire avec DKMS qui est fait pour les cartes relativement récentes en suivant le wiki. Donc nouveau xorg.conf.

C'est bien ça ?

non tu fais rien de tout ça , supprimer le driver 304 , supprimer le xorg.conf et purger (par apt-get autormove --purge ) et reboot
au démarrage tu dois etre avec nouveau (voir le log du serveur X , Xorg.0.log )

ton dossier /etc/modprobe.d  ne doit plus contenir de blacklist-nouveau.conf ou nvidia-blacklist-nouveau.conf

Supprimer le 304 veut dire désinstaller nvidia-legacy-304xx-kernel-dkms ?

Je n'avais pas créé de blacklist-nouveau.conf dans /etc/modprobe.d.

oui repartir sur nouveau avec quelque chose de propre puis refaire l installation proprement avec la commande du wiki.
pour désinstaller le 304 juste faire :


apt-get remove xserver-video-xorg-nvidia-legacy-304xx
 



puis


apt-get autoremove --purge
 



et reboot et tu va voir dans le log si c est bien nouveau qui se charge comme driver

Ok, 304 déinstallé, purge faite.

A l'installation de :

apt-get install nvidia-kernel-dkms nvidia-settings nvidia-driver linux-headers-$(uname -r)



des erreurs :


Des erreurs ont été rencontrées pendant l'exécution :
 /var/cache/apt/archives/libgl1-nvidia-glx_340.101-1_amd64.deb
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
 



Ensuite création du xorg.conf avec dedans :

Driver    "nvidia"

EndSection
 



Reboot et écran noir avec le tiret qui clignote.

pourquoi tu remet le nvidia de jessie ? (340 )  on a vu que ta carte ne supporte que le 304 ?

tu ne m a pas dit si le bureau fonctionne aprés la purge du 304 , tu a fait un reboot ?

Je croyais qu'il fallait le désinstaller et suivre la partie Pilotes propriétaires avec DKMS dans le tuto https://debian-facile.org/doc:materiel: … ia:accueil

Du coup je comprends pas trop ce qu'il faut que je fasse.

Ok, c'est la partie legacy qu'il faut que je suive pour réinstaller 304. Je pensais que comme ça marchait pas on essayait avec le driver de cartes plus récentes.

oui c est nvidia-detect qui nous la confirmé
nota : mes réponses un peu longues je suis sur un autre post pour un problème de driver aussi.
prend ton temps , meme si c est pas trés joli (sur le bureau ) repasse par le driver nouveau , et installe le driver 304 avec la ligne par dkms que je t ai donné
pour faire une installation propre , il faut que debian soit propre
lorsque tu lance l installation du 304 il va te noter les actions qu il fait dans la console , lors du building (du ou des ) noyau il ne doit pas y avoir d erreurs
créer le xorg.conf puis reboot pour prendre les modifications en compte
ça fait longtemps que je n installe plus de vieux driver je pense pas oublier quelque chose

Bon alors ou bien j'ai raté des commandes ou alors c'est impossible de faire fonctionner cette carte avec le 304.

C'est les log avec nouveau.
Je me demande pourquoi j'arrive plus à faire marcher le driver propriétaire après la mise à jour même en le réinstallant et en réinstallant le système.

Ce qui ne va pas c'est qu'on dirait qu'on a passé un coup d'éponge sur de l'encre pas sèche. Tout l'affichage est un peu comme brossé. Donc rien n'est vraiment net. Avec le driver propriétaire ça allait.

LVDS-1 aucune idée. C'est l'écran du portable.

regarde si pas un driver plus ancien disponible que le 304 ?
je suppose que tu te souvient pas de ce qui était installé lorsque ça a fonctionné ?

J'avais suivi le même wiki alors ça devait être le même driver propriétaire 304.

Dans le wiki ça a l'air simple et pas besoin de xorg.conf ni de blacklister "nouveau".

Si je regarde dans les log après avoir installé nvidia-legacy-304xx-kernel-dkms je crois qu'il charge toujours le driver "nouveau".
Je trouve ça dans /var/log/Xorg.0.log :

je sais plus hmm  , normalement jusqu au 340 de jessie il faut un xorg.conf  (maintenant il est optionnel )
je sais plus si le driver blacklist  nouveau automatiquement comme maintenant ou pas , normalement oui
quand au nom du driver je vois que "nvidia" ,  il y a "nv" et "nouveau" pour le libre

peut etre commencer a regarder si l installation créer bien le fichier pour blacklister "nouveau"
si le building du noyau ce fait bien (dans la console ça se voit , lorsque il crée les modules)
enfin si le nom du driver est bien "nvidia" dans le xorg.conf

si j'avais ta machine sous la main ..............  roll  tongue

depuis 2014 , c est tellement plus simple d'installer le driver proprio des dépots que quand ça coince on a plus les bons réflexes  sad

pour blacklister nouveau tu créer un fichier , par exemple 20-blacklist-nouveau.conf
dans /etc/modprobe.d/20-blacklist-nouveau.conf
tu met dedans simplement


blacklist nouveau
 



nota : ne pas oublier de l enlever pour retrouver nouveau si tu désinstalle le driver 304 .(si l'installation le créer , inutile de le faire )

Je crois que tu n'as pas fait la bonne commande dans le tutoriel après la réinstallation si tu te retrouves avec du nvidia-driver
Tu as suivi Pilotes propriétaires avec DKMS au lieu de Pilotes propriétaires legacy avec DKMS
C'est vrai que ça ne me semble pas clair mais je n'ai pas de Nvidia sous linux.
