Export all databases to a .sql file, and back up MySQL data directory.
Stop MySQL server.
Uninstall and remove MySQL packages.
Do not use "purge" option in apt-get as that would remove MySQL config files and other MySQL related data directories as well, which we will continue to use after MySQL upgrade.
Install MySQL dependency (kernel asynchronous I/O access library) which is needed for MySQL 5.5 and higher.
Download a MySQL Debian package from the official site.
https://dev.mysql.com/downloads/repo/apt/
-> mysql-apt-config_0.8.3-1_all.deb
Install the downloaded MySQL package.
Update
Start MySQL server.
Restore MySQL databases.
Finally, upgrade MySQL system tables.

Ma Debian allie parfaitement la théorie et la pratique : rien ne fonctionne et je ne sais pourquoi
