[clos] problème disque dur démarrage w$

bonjour ,

voilà , j'ai un problème avec mon disque dur .

ayant voulu instaler ma carte video sous windows et stretch , j'ai eu des soucis .

au début , les pilotes amd m'ont créé des problèmes de fonctionnement sous windows.

à force de réinstaller ce dernier , maintenant , j'obtiens  ceci :

chargement w$ : 45 min
arrivé sur le bureau : redémarrage (45 min)
redémarrage : 45 min .

faites le calcul : plus de 90 min pour démarrer w$

apparemment  w$ prends en charge maintenant ma carte graphique

stretch : pas de problème de démarrage

le vendeur prétend que le problème vient de mon disque dur 

w$ et stretch sont sur le même disque , savoir sda .

si vous pouviez me dépanner , parce que là , j'y comprends plus rien  .

à cette heure (18h55 , lundi 30 octobre 2017) voilà le dernier comportement :

mise sous tension : 30 min
arrivée sur le bureau : redémarrage (~40 min)
suite au redémarrage : ok

présentement , depuis 18h50 , je suis sous windows 10

pour avoir installé grub et démarré sur un nouveau disque , j'ai observé un léger changement .
w$ n'a mis que 30 min pour démarrer (démarrage et grub sur sdd)  contre 45 en démarrant sur sda
w$ reste toujours sur sda de même que stretch (qui ne me pose pas de problème , lui)
on observe donc un gain au démarrage de l'ordre de 30%

je relève ce que tu dis , potemkine17 , malgré tout , je me demande  si smartmontools est bien fiable ?
j'ai téléchargé seatools pour dos , aucun de mes hdd n'est reconnu . même pas sda qui , pourtant , est un seagate
et en plus est branché sur la carte mère .

alors qui croire ? seatools ou smartmontools ?

L'absence de problème avec Stretch n'exclut pas de fait une cause matérielle. Le disque pourrait très bien avoir des secteurs défectueux uniquement dans des zones allouées à Windows.

Attention ! Se fier à cette seule ligne est très insuffisant. J'ai déjà vu un tas de disques clairement défectueux et inutilisables qui avaient pourtant ce statut "PASSED".
Il faut tout examiner, notamment les attributs et les logs d'erreur.

Du côté des attributs : RAS. Toutes les valeurs sont dans les clous, il n'y a aucun secteur défectueux réalloué ni aucun secteur illisible identifié.
Dans les logs, il y a bien eu quelques erreurs de lecture. Mais c'était il y a un bout de temps : vers 37000 heures de fonctionnement alors que le disque en a actuellement plus de 46000. Les derniers autotests se sont terminés sans erreur. Si le disque a un problème, ce n'est pas visible à travers SMART.

Par exemple j'ai vu des disques qui étaient devenus très lents lors de la lecture et/ou de l'écriture de certaines zones du disque, sans qu'il y ait d'erreur.
Tu pourrais faire un test du disque en lecture seule avec badblocks pour vérifier l'absence de secteurs défectueux et la vitesse de lecture séquentielle. La vitesse de lecture peut être affichée lors du test avec la commande vmstat suivie d'une période de 5 à 10 secondes dans une autre console. La colonne "bi" (blocks in) affiche le nombre moyen de blocs de 1 Kio lus par seconde. Le débit moyen doit décroitre régulièrement du début à la fin, plus lentement au début et plus rapidement à la fin.

je te fais  confiance . enfin , surtout au disque .

j'espère que je n'aurai pas  d'erreurs .

je viens de lancer w$ il y a un peu plus d'une heure .

lancé depuis sdd , il a très bien démarré , mais , arrivé  sur le bureau , l'écran s'est déconnecté sans que j'y touche .

apparemment , problème de pilote (AMD) .

après une heure d'attente où rien n'a  bougé , j'ai redémarré mon pc  sur buster (sdd)

d'où je vous écrit maintenant .

Au risque de gêner la résolution du problème, peut-on  savoir si tu avais ces soucis avant d'installer ta carte  Graphique ? Car, si j'ai bien compris , tout est parti de là.

L'autre console peut être une autre console virtuelle en mode texte (tty1-6), un autre émulateur de terminal, un autre onglet de l'émulateur de terminal...


Il vaut mieux montrer que raconter.

où je vois que la colonne  "bi" est irrégulière .

ceci se  confirme dans les passes suivantes .

et vient en opposition à ce que tu dis :

Le débit moyen doit décroitre régulièrement du début à la fin, plus lentement au début et plus rapidement à la fin.



si tu parles d'un débit moyen , c'est peut être normal .

je me demande : en faisant un dban sur sda , cela pourrait il résoudre mes problèmes de chargement avec w$ ?

des fois que mon disque soit "polllué" ? .

et dans ce cas , je fais  combien de passes pour avoir un formatage correct ?

tu as  vu juste .

tout a commencé avec des problèmes de pilote de la carte graphique .
puis  windows à commencer à mettre du temps à charger

maintenant , après  3/4 installations  d'un w$ tout neuf , celui ci est en panne .

il met plus de 45 min à démarrer , voire ne démarre pas du tout .

je vais tester mon installation sur la carte graphique de la carte mère , pour voir .

bon , ben , apparemment , en réglant le bios sur l'iGPU :
w$ démarre sur celui ci , puis commute sur la carte externe ,
puis s'affiche sur les  deux écrans et enfin sur l'iGPU .

pour l'instant , réglé comme ça , plus de problème de démarrage .
(ça fait le 3ème démarrage que j'essaie , sans problème)

Non, ce sont de petites variations normales. Une irrégularité, ce serait si le débit avait chuté significativement et brutalement, de 130 000 (130 Mo/s) à 50 000 (50 Mo/s) par exemple.
Avec un débit de début à 130 Mo/s (ce qui est très correct), le débit de fin devrait être de l'ordre de 70 Mo/s.

Dban est totalement superflu. Une simple passe d'écriture de zéros avec dd ou autre suffit largement à effacer tout le contenu du disque.

Mais ici le disque semble en bonne santé, donc encore plus inutile.
