Freezes aléatoires sur emachines e640g

Bonjour smile
Je viens d'installer Debian Stretch Xfce (DFlinux) sur un PC emachines e640g et celui-ci me fait des freezes complets aléatoires : tout se gèle. Souris, clavier et impossible de passer en console. Obligé d'éteindre de force. Il peut tenir plusieurs heures sans freeze comme bloquer 2 minutes apèrs mise en route.

regarde si tu as pas des messages d'erreur

dmseg



Sinon affiche les secondes sur ton horloge de bureau comme ça tu verras l'heure la la seconde pres quand le PC freeze et tu pourras consulter le fichier syslog

Bonjour,

Au vu du caractère aléatoire et total du freeze, on peut suspecter un problème matériel au sens large; ça inclut de mon point de vue autant un problème de contact entre cartes et/ou connecteurs autant qu'une défaillance d'un circuit. Tu peux effectuer une vérification de la RAM avec memtest86. Je suggère d'effectuer au moins 3 passes complètes de test.

Ce que je fais je met un filtre pour afficher que l'heure qui m’intéresse
cat /var/log/syslog|grep 21:54
mais les infos reste pas longtemps car le fichier est archivé syslog.1 syslog.2.gz ....

Comment fonctionne le memtest ? J'en ai lancé un. Il a tourné quelques minutes pour m'annoncer qu'il n'y avait aucune erreur, mais il semblait être encore en cours d'analyse lorsqu'il m'a envoyé ce message...

memtest te donne les résultat du test en temps réel mais un test complet est tres long
Sur mon vieux ordinosaure il y a avait 2 barettes de 512 a la base et memtest m'en a trouvé une défectueuse

Edit: j'avais lu qu'il y avait une option a passer a grub pour filtré les plages mémoire

J'ai laissé tourner un memtest. A mon retour, il était comme ça.

Tout était figé sauf un tiret clignotant dans le coin supérieur gauche. Et aucune réaction des touches Esc, C, Espace ou Eetrée. J'ai donc dû éteindre la machine de force.

Comment je peux interpréter ce "résultat" ? hmm

Je vois dans ton message 3 des erreurs qui serait lié a l'hibernation, de ce que j'ai pu en comprendre suis sur de rien
Sur mon système j'ai l'hibernation qui foire et c'est les même message , présence d'une image en mémoire et après incapacité de lire l'image en question
Donc si juste après ton crash tu as ce genre de message c'est peut être pas une coïncidence

Les crashs sont soudains et ne semblent pas liés à l'hibernation : je ne demande pas d'hibernation et je suis en train d'utiliser l'ordi quand ça crash.
Qu'est-ce que je peux faire pour en savoir plus sur l'origine de ces crashs ? hmm

Pourtant quand dans ton retour de dmesg c'est comme si tu essayais de sortir d'hibernation
C'est un peu les même message que j'avais quand j'essayais de faire fonctionner la sortie d'hibernation

Peut être un raccourci clavier qui déclenche une hibernation a l’insu de ton plein gré  tongue

Combien de temps environ? comme dit précédemment le memtest peut prendre plusieurs heures, j'estime au moins une heure pour un test complet au vu de matériel et de la quantité de ram.

Il n'y a pas forcément des changements en permanence sur l"affichage, par contre en restant une ou 2 minutes devant l'écran on devrait voir l'état d'avancement du test en cours progresser.  Si rien ne se passe pendant une longue durée il est fort probable que la machine se soit plantée, ce qui va dans le sens d'un problème matériel comme évoqué dans mon post précédent.

Il est possible que Esc et C ne réagisse pas instantanément mais ne soit pris en compte qu'à la fin du test courant (pas de la passe entière, juste du test en cours)
Concernant Espace et Entrée, c'est sans effet visible tant que la partie principale centrale n'est pas remplie de lignes d'information.

Si l'on exclut ces risques de mauvaise interprétation, il semble que la machine se soit à nouveau plantée.
Dans ce cas, je suggère d'ouvrir la trappe d'accès à la ram qui doit (je l'espère) exister (généralement sur le dessous du PC) et d'extraire/remettre en place délicatement les barrettes, en prenant soin de se décharger de l'électricité statique en touchant une terre (carcasse de radiateur électrique ou autre) juste avant de procéder à l'intervention. On peut profiter de l'extraction pour passer un chiffon imbibé d'alcool sur les contacts des barrettes afin de les nettoyer.
En espérant que les barrettes ne soient pas soudées directement à la carte-mère, auquel cas il faudra chercher une autre cause (soudure déficiente au niveau des barrettes de ram ou problème de contact sur un autre élément du système, mais s'agissant d'un portable c'est délicat à vérifier ).

Memtest avait tourné quelques heures, je m'étais absenté. Dans le doute, j'ai remplacé les deux barrettes par d'autres : j'ai eu exactement les mêmes symptômes. Un Freeze aléatoire du PC. Ça arrive le plus souvent quand je sollicite le PC, en surfant avec Firefox par exemple.

Sinon, j'ai ces messages quand l'ordi démarre...

Je n'ai pas attendu très longtemps, une ou deux minutes en tout cas. Et le freeze était resté total. (Arrêt de l'horloge, console inaccessible... )
Mes messages d'erreurs ne pourraient pas avoir un lien ?
