Problème avec pilote carte graphique Radeon

Salut à tous,

C'est le site dolys.fr qui m'envoie à vous pour un  problème dû, semble-t-il, au pilote de ma carte graphique.
Voici le problème:

J’ai ce message d’erreur lorsque j’allume mon laptop :

Cette erreur est-elle susceptible de causer des soucis d'ordre opérationnel?

Oui. De temps en temps, l’écran devient noir avec des sortes de parasites. Je dois alors l’éteindre et le redémarrer. Cela fait 2 fois que j’essaie d’installer Debian sur ce vieux laptop. La première fois, j’ai eu le même problème avec l’écran et par la suite, le pc a commencé à émettre des sons persistants et mon disque dur a rendu l’âme. J’ai donc remplacé le disque dur par un autre d’occasion et j’ai opté pour une version Debian i386 au lieu d’une amd64 mais voilà tout recommence.

je pense que le problème est ailleurs
rien a voir avec cette erreur que certain ont éliminé en blacklistant  "sp5100"
je vais taper cette commande sur une machine AMD qui n'a aucun soucis  (je précise que toutes mes machines en AMD ont cette erreur)
a tout de suite  smile

sur un AMD FX8320E  (meme les derniers Ryzen donne cette erreur.)

il te faut chercher ailleurs , problème de driver (ou système) , ou problème matériel .

Je ne l'avais pas installé. C'est fait maintenant. wink Mais le problème est toujours là.

pour stretch
c'est le paquet "firmware-amd-graphics" qui est utile pour ta carte radeon , le firmware-linux-nonfree ne te sert a rien (méta-paquet) qui installe d'autres firmwares.

pour ta carte graphique tu a besoin du noyau , du firmware ci dessus et  du paquet "xserver-xorg-video-radeon"
dans le log du serveur X tu peu regarder les erreurs éventuelles


cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log
 



pour les problèmes chercher dans les logs , les erreurs.
pour le matériel plus compliqué.
c'est aléatoire , ou a un moment précis , quand tu fais quelque chose (ouvrir une application )

firmware-linux-nonfree lui a donc servi puisqu’il a installé de fait firmware-amd-graphics roll

Comme dit par anonyme, tu ne sembles pas avoir de souci avec ta carte graphique.

modesetting est déchargé c'est normal aussi , mais le driver amd radeon utilise les drm du noyau
tu peu demander une commande pour vérifier les messages a propos des drm (dans /var/log/syslog )

pour l'instant rien qui prouve que ce soit le driver video qui pose problème.

tu peu aussi tester  "glxinfo -B" et "glxgear" du paquet mesa-utils

nota : tu utilise le r600 pour une carte ancienne

ps: tu peu expliquer ta configuration mémoire ?  ( nombre de barrettes , capacité par barrette ) c'est une machine en amd , le type de processeur .

tout est parfait pour la carte vidéo , non r600 ce n'est pas un problème , ça correspond a ta carte
juste que tu peu parfois avoir des ralentissements par manque de ressources
tu a un bureau léger .
par contre moi je regarderai coté mémoire , faire un test avec la 2Go puis la 4Go
utilisé 2 barrettes différentes ça peu poser problème (marque différentes , capacité différente ) surement électronique différente.
ça tourne très bien avec 2 ou 4Go (certains tournent avec 512 ......  ) si tu vois que la machine est stable tu a trouvé ton problème.
je suppose que tu a le dual channel et que ta carte mère supporte 8Go de mémoire maximum (2 emplacements )
il y a aussi prendre debian 64 au lieu de i386 mais ça demande de réinstaller et a priori pas une raison que ça bug en i386 .
l'état de propreté , l état des ventilateurs (alimentation , cpu , gpu ) , les températures .
ton processeur c'est quoi la marque et le type ?
combien tu vois de mémoire installé a partir du bureau , et dans le bios ( si c'est possible ) , avant de faire le test des barrettes
l'état de l'alimentation , je suppose quelle est pas récente .
désactiver la veille  , meme l'écran , qu il n y ai pas un bug lors de la reprise.

J'ai fait des tests avec Memtest86+ (iso gravé sur cd) pour la mémoire et aucune erreur n'est apparue.
Tout ce que j'ai pu remarquer c'est  la température du CPU qui monte jusqu'à 56°C.
Mon processeur est un AMD E-350 Processor. J'ai déjà essayé  Debian 64 avec les mêmes problèmes, c'est pour cela que je l'ai réinstallé mais cette fois-ci en i386. L'ordi est clean, le ventilateur a été nettoyé.
RAM: 533 Mhz (DDR3-1066)
Total memory: 6144MB
Video memory: 256MB
Memory SPD information:
Slot 0: 4096MB DDR3
Slot 1: 2048MB DDR3

Je vais abandonner Debian pour ce pc car il commence à faire de drôles de bruits lorsque celui-ci démarre. Je n'ose plus le rallumer de peur que le disque dur ne me lâche comme cela a déjà été le cas lors de ma première installation de Debian sur ce même laptop. Je vais essayer une autre distribution linux et on verra bien s'il plante!
