Problème Pad PC Portable [Résolu]

Bonjour,

Je possède actuellement un ordinateur portable Asus avec Debian 8.

Le problème, c'est qu'il ne fonctionne qu'avec une souris. Le pad tactile ne fonctionne pas.

Comment faire car avant sous Windows, et il fonctionnait ?

Malheureusement la solution n'est pas dans ce wiki car je ne veux pas le paramétrer mais l'activer. Car il n'est pas reconnu.

Car dans préfèrence de la souris section pavé tactile du centre de contrôle, il est affiché que le pavé tactile est activé alors qu'il ne fonctionne pas.

Le curseur de ma souris ne bouge qu'avec une souris en périphérique.

J'ai installé hardinfo, dans les entrées indiquées dans le sommaire, il y a inscrit " ETPS/2 Elantech TouchPad.

Je n'arrive pas à régler le problème.

Il est possible que ce portable soit un petit peu trop récent pour le noyau 3.16 (2014 Q3) de Debian 8 Jessie :

dmesg | grep -i dmi:


Nous en donnera les références exactes. L'Intel Core i5-5200U et la GeForce GTX 950M datent de 2015 Q1 !

OK ; année 2015 donc... il pourrait être intéressant de voir le retour des commandes suivantes,

apt-cache policy xserver-xorg-input-synaptics

cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log


apt-get install xinput

xinput --list-props "ETPS/2 Elantech Touchpad"


Le paquet xserver-xorg-input-synaptics est vraisemblablement installé mais on peut le vérifier...

Et avant d'aller plus loin, tu pourrais tester en Live Debian 9 MATE (ici), voire DFLinux-Stretch !

Note : ton fichier /etc/apt/sources.list comporte certainement des doublons, mais c'est un tout autre sujet.

Problème résolu ! J'ai installé le dernier Debian 9.4.0 au lieu de Debian 8.10 . Maintenant mon Pad fonctionne. J'en ai profité pour re-partitionner mes disques !

Pour les doublons du fichier sources.list , je le savais mais j'avais pas pris le temps.
