J'ai mis les ftp et ftp2 pour éviter les mauvaises surprises
les équivalents stable=lenny testing=squeeze en prévision des nouvelles stables

J'ajoute cette liste de dépots  que l'on pourra ajouter dans un répertoire: /etc/apt/sources.list.d à créer.


Explications sur ce répertoire ( extrait du man sources.list): 

Le répertoire /etc/apt/sources.list.d
permet de spécifier des sources de paquets dans des fichiers distincts qui se terminent par .list. Leur format est le même que celui du fichier sources.list. Les noms de fichiers doivent se terminer par .list et ne peuvent contenir que des lettres (a-z et A-Z), des chiffres (0-9), des caractres de soulignement (_), des tirets et des points. Dans le cas contraire, ils seront ignorés.

Exemple: libreoffice.list

Voici cette liste (attention aux doublons avec votre sources.list principal):
Décommenter les lignes qui vous intéressent.

Bonjour,

je suis nouveau sur ce forum et je viens d'installer Debian squeeze.

J'ai un peu honte de ma question mais j'essaie d'éditer la sources.list avec nano, mais je ne comprends pas comment enregistrer avec ajout à la fin.
Il y a écrit : M-A ajout (à la fin).
Si non j'édite directement sous gedit mais je trouve nano plus sympa.

Globalement: J'utilise avec ceci apt-cacher-ng et apt-listbugs

Explication:
Le but de cette configuration est d'avoir une installation assez récente (d'un point de vue paquet) mais aussi stable tout en essayant de pas avoir à passer trop de temps en maintenance.

Note:
Je poste ces configurations car après pas mal de lecture, j'ai remarqué que peu utilise le tag n pour nommé la branche utilisé.
De plus j'ai choisi volontairement de ne pas inclure le dépôt experimental.

Effectivement je suis d'accord avec ton propos, pour avoir une stabilité exemplaire ---> squeeze .
Pour une question de matériel, de versions des outils que j'utilise, ainsi que gnome 3 m'ont fait choisir Wheezy. Maintenant, lorsque celle-ci passera en stable, je verrai à ce moment là.
Après pourquoi pas Sid, juste pour éviter de la maintenance que j'aurais pas à faire sur testing ... nb: choix très subjectif cela dit.

Testing se trouve à être un lieu où les modifications en test peuvent prendre plus de temps à se résoudre, du fait que testing vise à être stable alors qu'avec sid les modifications visent à être directement utilisées, il est vrai avec sagesse et circonspection...

Vous chercher une testing qui bouge pas trop, qui soit pas trop buggée, en gros une presque stable qui booste à mort...

Votre sauveur smile et là pour vous servir sur un plateau d'argent la version qui va bien, le produit phare du système debian, la nouvelle reférence dans le monde de l'informatique...

Si je devais mettre mon grain de sel dans cette discussion, je dirais que les avantages de Sid par rapport à testing (rapidité des mises à jour, -securité- (à prendre avec des pincettes pour que ça soit pas trop salé) et rolling release) n'en sont pas vraiment. Testing peut contenir des bogues long à corriger, mais Sid sert aussi de pare-buffle, car quand un bug majeur est décelé, il reste en sid et ne tombe pas en testing wink
Très honêtement, je trouve plus sage d'être en testing, et je ne comprend pas votre argumentaire envers Sid, si ce n'est la réactivité.

Pour CUT, bien que j'avais beaucoup d'espoir dans ce projet, il s'agit uniquement de "snapshot" qui servent juste à installer car:
- Aucune mise à jour, ni correction de bogue
- Obligation de changer le sources.list manuellement tous les mois si on veut les màj

Bref, très peu d'intérêt, si ce n'est pour installer Wheezy sans avoir de soucis.

Je partage entièrement ton avis dbkblk, que ce soit pour CUT qui me tente pas non plus, ou pour ce qui est de sid. Surtout que je ne suis pas du style à vouloir faire des mise à jour toutes les deux heures. Du coup, vu qu'en général je ne les fait qu'une fois par semaine ...

Pour du desktop je viens d'archlinux, après 2 ans de bon fonctionnement, mon installation commencait à montrer les faiblesses d'un tel système. Ce qui m'a obligé à faire bien plus de maintenance que je le souhaitais.(Tout du moins en ce moment)

Ajout: D'ailleur, afin d'en d'avoir confirmation, le fait de mettre wheezy au lieu de testing dans le sources.list devrait m'éviter des soucis lors du passage de celui-ci en stable ?non ? je prefere savoir ce genre de chose à l'avance .;)

Oui, ça veut juste dire que tu vas rester sur la branche stable, quand elle sera stabilisée. Si tu restes en testing, tu vas "replonger" en testing lorsque Wheezy sortira, ce qui est réputé délicat (mais bon ça sera pas forcément ton cas si tu le fais). C'est mieux de rester en Wheezy quelques semaines après sa sortie, et de remplacer ton sources.list par la nouvelle testing après, si tu souhaites repasser en testing !

Toutefois, comme tu signales un problème avec multimedia, j'ai supputé également que tu avais une erreur de ce côté-là. smile

effectivement c'est sur disque dur....je l'ai creer avec "reprepro" mais pour le multimedia ,lorsque je veux installer l'un de ces paquets j'ai "paquet cassé" en sortie,je dois donc pioché a la mano dans le depot "brut"(le "dl" de depart des paquets,avant la creation du depot) qui se trouve sur le meme "disque dur"...en faite lors de la creation du depot multimedia ,il prends en compte des paquets qui ne sont pas compatible apparemment....pourquoi??...je n'ai pas encore trouvé...
