Samba - Partage avec windows XP

Bonjour,

Je viens d'installer Debian sur un PC pour l'utiliser comme serveur de fichiers.
J'ai plusieurs problemes:
1) Je suis obligé de m'identifier pour avoir accès au partage depuis mon PC winXP. J'ai donc créé un user "public" sans password, mais je ne trouve pas ça idéal
2) J'ai des droits pour "browse" et "read" mais je n'arrive pas à ajouter des fichiers ou les modifiers ("write" quoi!)
3)Si j'essaie d'explorer le partage "home" de mon user "public" (qui s'appelle donc "public" dans le voisinage réseau de windows) je plante tout windows (même plus accès au gestionnaire des taches pour killer explorer.exe)

Un petit coup de main?

voici un Exemple de dossier public qui te demandera pas de mot de passe.

parcontre je ne vois pas ou est définit ton dossie "public" donc je ne saurai te dire ce qui pose problème

Je crois que le partage "public" vient de:

   browseable = no


Je crois que ça veut dire que selon l'utilisateur loggué, on lui présente son home directory, non?

J'essaie ton bout de code et je vous tiens au courant.

Bon j'ai fait la modif, voilà mon nouveau smb.conf.
J'ai également supprimée la partie [home]

Là j'ai carrément régressé puisque je ne peux plus explorer la racine du serveur dans mon explorer windows. En effet, il me demande un mot de passe pour debian.mon-domaine.com et le user "public" n'est plus autorisé à se logguer.

BOnjour,

Sinon pour dans tes paramètres GLOBAL tu peux rajouter la ligne suivante :

security = share


Cela indique a ton serveur samba que tu veux pas d'authentification pour les comptes de ta machine qui utilise samba.

Ou Alors tu mets:

security = user


Et la il faudra que tes utilisateurs s'authentifient sur ton serveur. Si tu prends le paramètres "user" il te faudra synchroniser tes compte linux en compte samba avec la commande "

smbpasswd -a compte utilisateur


Ensuite pour crée un partage public tu peux procédé ainsi

[public]
     path = /home/public
     public = yes
     only guest = yes
     writable = yes
     printable = no


Dernière chose si tu mets l'option "browseable = no" tu indiques à samba que ce partage ne peut pas être listé sur le serveur.

Merci Draconis,

On avance, maitenant windows choisit lui même le login "Debian\Invité" mais il me demande un mot de passe que je ne connais pas ("vide" ne marche pas).

Bon je crois que je ne vais pas économiser le fait de me tapper la doc complete de samba pour comprendre les différentes couches d'autorisations et de droits... je m'en réjouis d'avance!

Merci à tous,

J'ai trouvé la solution en m'inspirant du code de Draconis et de ce que j'ai trouvé ici.
Diviser pour régner : je suis reparti d'un smb.conf vierge et j'ai juste ajouté ce qui m'était utile.

J'ai créé un utilisateur nobody.
Que j'ai référencé dans samba avec la commande smbpasswd -a nobody.

J'ai créé un répertoire /home/public sous root auquel j'ai donné les droits chmod 777.

Ensuite j'ai ajouté dans mon smb.cnf l'option guest account = nobody qui veut dire que le user invité est nobody.

Puis j'ai ajouté l'option map to guest = bad user qui évite à l'utilisateur windows de voir la petite fenetre de login du compte invité.

Et ça marche! Yepee.
