Bug wifi debian sid
I recently came across a situation like that with my own wireless atheros adapter on stretch and if your case is the same as mine, your problems come from the random MAC address randomization feature that was added in network-manager 1.4, which recently became available on stretch. To disable it, add the following to your /etc/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.conf and restart NetworkManager.service:
[device]
wifi.scan-rand-mac-address=no
