Normal, c'est la conséquence inévitable de l'option "nomodeset", qui n'a servi qu'à confirmer que le problème vient du module nouveau. Il n'est pas question de la laisser.

Eventuellement essaie avec l'option "nofbaccel=1" ou "noaccel=1" au lieu de nomodeset,
Sans succès, le démarrage bloque toujours.
Tu peux refaire ce que tu as fait précédemment.
C'est à dire ? De réinstaller le pilote prioritaire de Nvidia ? et refaire la modification dans le BIOS ?

A moins que tu détestes le non libre au point de préférer rester en basse résolution.
Ça aurait pu être intéressant de voir les messages de nouveau/dri/drm dans les logs du noyau (dmesg) et de Xorg (/var/log/Xorg.0.log) avec juste le réglage du CSM pour essayer de comprendre pourquoi ça limite la résolution. Mais ça ne mènera peut-être à rien, et tu n'as pas forcément de temps à perdre en expérimentations stériles.
Dans la mesure du possible j'essaye d'être libre, mais la j'ai déjà passé pas mal de temps et pris aussi du tiens, on devrait s'arrêter là pour le moment, non ?
Mais si vraiment je suis prêt à refaire une installe (15 minutes) et je suis de retour...

Ben, le hic c'est je viens de réinstaller le pilote propriétaire de Nvidia... Par contre je n'ai rien changer au BIOS cette fois et ça fonctionne (?).

15 minutes top chrono je suis de retour.
Je vais essayer "nouveau.nofbaccel=1" et "nouveau.noaccel=1" et je reviens...
Avec "nouveau.nofbaccel=1" et "nouveau.noaccel=1" c'est un échec le "boot" se fige.

Et examiner le contenu du fichier /var/log/Xorg.0.log pour voir quel pilote est utilisé (NOUVEAU ou VESA) dans un premier temps, si le modesetting est activé, les résolutions détectées... L'ennui est que le contenu de ce fichier est très long et pas facile à filtrer.

Et il ne fallait pas mettre l'option "nomodeset", je sais déjà quels sont ses effets.
Minute, tu as posté juste avant moi... je viens d'éditer mon message ! Désolé.
Je voudrais que tu te remettes dans les conditions de ton message #21 où tu avais réussi à démarrer en modifiant l'options CSM de l'UEFI avec résolution maxi 1024x768, sans nomodeset, sans le pilote Nvidia.
