Ça ne fonctionne plus.
Est-ce à cause de la mie à jour d'Xserver ?
Plus rien sur les prises HDMI du dock.

Je suis allé chercher le patch sur le site : https://www.displaylink.com/downloads/file?d=310

et je l'ai exécuté :

Tout semble Ok, je reboote ...

C'est résolu ! Je peux à nouveau gérer mes 3 écrans (jusqu'à la prochaine mise à jour ?)

Pour information : lorsque je branche mes deux écrans supplémentaires sur le dock, tout fonctionne au ralenti (USB3).
Lorsque je branche 1 écran sur le dock et l'autre sur la prise HDMI de mon Thinkpad, c'est tout à fait correct.

Suite à mes réclamations, LDLC vient de me proposer de me rembourser le dock.
Mais comme ça fonctionne, je vais le garder...

Tout semble bien installé mais après reboot, les ports HDMI du dock ne fonctionnent toujours pas.

Pour info je suis allé du côté de DisplayLink, j'ai modifié le fichier /etc/udev/rules.d/99-displaylink.rules
comme indiqué ici (pour ubuntu 21.04) :

Le Dock fonctionne pour les ports USB, la prise casque et la prise micro mais pas pour les ports HDMI

Les ports HDMI ont fonctionné en janvier sous Kubuntu 20.10 mais ils ont été perdus avec des mises à jour et je n'avais pas noté les noyaux...

J'ai suivi la procédure d'installation en commençant par le téléchargement sur :
https://www.synaptics.com/products/disp … letype=exe
Je me suis rendu dans le répertoire du téléchargement

cd /répertoire/du/téléchargement/


J'ai décompressé l'archive téléchargée :

unzip DisplayLink_Ubuntu_5.3.1.zip

]
Rendu le fichier exécutable :

sudo chmod +x displaylink-driver-5.3.1.34.run


Puis exécuté le fichier :

sudo ./displaylink-driver-5.3.1.34.run


J'obtiens :

Je vois que tu n'as pas de réponse après plus d'un mois. En fait ta question me semble trop large pour que quelqu'un puisse te répondre.

Tu remarqueras que des outils de tests sont souvent proposés pour un composant en particulier. Les diagnostics pour ordis sont souvent proposés par les constructeurs et varient selon les modèles...

Ta petite question engendre de nombreuses réponses alors donne un maximum d'indications :
Quel ordi (marque, modèle, mémoires, carte graphique,...) ?
Plus la description sera précisée, plus la réponse sera adaptée.

J'ai essayé de réinstaller via l'iso de Debian-Facile mais ça ne fonctionnait pas.
Sur les conseils de robert2a J'ai réinstallé Buster en Netinstall, ça a fonctionné, mais toujours pas de serveurX.

Merci à tous pour vos réponses mais j'ai vu un premier problème : la gestion de ma carte graphique AMD Renoir qui plante sur Ubuntu 20.04, 20.10, 21.04.
Les pilotes ne semblent fonctionner qu'avec certains noyaux. Je vais d'abord essayer de comprendre ce qui se passe avec ma carte sous Ubuntu (je peux copier coller les logs lors des installations).
Je reviens vers vous après.
En attendant je vais vous faire un virement bancaire car les sites en anglais me demandent trop d'efforts (mon vocabulaire informatique est trop limité dans la langue de Shakespeare....)

Bonjour Robert2a,
Ce soir j'ai quitté Debian car c'est vraiment galère de retourner le résultat long d'une commande sans le copier/coller
(en fait je dois tout recopier sur la tablette, avec un correcteur orthographique qui ne comprend pas bien le langage console scratchhead.gif).

J'avais déjà essayé des installations Debian par le passé, sans succès... (j'étais sans doute trop impatient et ignorant)
Quand j'ai vu le site "Debian-Facile", je me suis dit que ce titre était un "oxymore" big_smile

Comme j'ai 3 OS sur mon ordi, je vais essayer de persévérer tout de même avec Debian qui me semble une distribution incontournable.
Je vais devoir travailler un peu plus.

J'essaierai à nouveau demain soir pour vous retourner les résultats des commandes.

Quand je fais startx j'obtiens

Quand je lance startx en Root :
en fin d'exécution j'obtiens

Pour le display manager c'est bien sddm (Désolé pour le retard dans mes réponses mais je dois tout recopier sur ma tablette kernal_panic.gif
Je n'ai pas de tty7 (seulement jusqu'à tty6)
Quant à lspci -k je ne vais pas les recopier mais la carte [AMD] Renoir est identifiée,

Bonjour,

Je viens d'installer Debian (en triple boot) avec debian-live-10.9.0-amd64-kde.iso installé sur une clé USB via Ventoy
(Mon bios ne dispose pas de legacy mode, seul Ventoy me permet de démarrer des isos https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/ventoy)

j'ai suivi le mode d'emploi https://lecrabeinfo.net/installer-linux … mplet.html
après le login et la modification des sources j'ai fait une mise à jour :

su -


apt update


apt full-upgrade


Puis
J'ai ensuite installé l'environnement de bureau :

apt install kde-plasma-desktop plasma-nm


mais les paquets étaient déjà installés.
Je me suis dit qu'il manquait un gestionnaire de session alors j'ai installé Sddm :

apt install sddm


mais le paquet était déjà installé.

J'ai rebooté et après le grub... je me retrouve devant l'écran tty1.

Comment puis-je lancer sddm automatiquement ?
