Bullseye et imprimante
Bonjour, je suis nouveau sur le site mais j'utilise Debian depuis plus d'un an (anciennement Ubuntu).
J'utilise Buster et tout va bien.
J'ai installé Bullseye pour un ami, et ... Sudo ne marche pas ? Le mdp n'est pas reconnu mais su - le fait. Bon, suffit de le savoir.
Par contre la reconnaissance de l'imprimante qui se faisait automatiquement à l'installation de Buster, ne se fait plus avec Bullseye ?
Le problème semble venir de l'absence de cups ?
En tentant de l'installer, le CD d'installation est demandé ? Je l'ai pas !
Sauriez vous si une mise à jour est prévue, ou si il y a une ligne de commande qui existe pour télécharger cups et tout ce qui va avec, de manière à se retrouver dans la même configuration que Buster ?
Je ne l'ai pas précisé mais vous l'aurez deviné, je ne suis qu'un amateur éclairé avec une lampe de poche déclinante.

Malheureusement je ne peux répondre à la demande "cat", j'ai rendu l'ordi à mon ami (sans savoir qu'il y aurait un problème).
Sinon que devrait faire apparaître cette liste pour reconnaître l'imprimante ?
L'imprimante est une HP, je n'ai pas le modèle.
Dois-je comprendre que le paquet : ipp-usb est trop récent pour l'imprimante ?
Peut-on simuler sur Bullseye la reconnaissance des imprimantes de Buster ?

Si à la demande d’installation de cups, le shell t’a demandé d’insérer le CD c’est que le fichier de configuration des dépôts des paquets debian (sources.list) n’a pas les liens vers les serveurs ad hoc(voir https://debian-facile.org/doc:systeme:apt:sources.list).
A priori, il faudrait configurer le sources.list pour installer cups avec une connexion internet.
Mais peut-être faudra-t-il aussi installer un pilote spécifique au modèle d’imprimante…

d'accord ! Merci pour le renseignement "sources.list".
La question était pourquoi y-a-t-il un problème avec Bullseye, alors qu'avec Buster ça marchait très bien.
Évidemment uniquement mon petit point de vue.
J'ai bien vu qu'il y a un autre paquet pour la prise en charge des imprimantes (Bullseye), j'en déduis que si elle n'est pas reconnue c'est qu'elle est trop vieille ?

En tout cas dans l'immédiat.
Si je peux me permettre une question supplémentaire : si l'imprimante, quelle que soit sa vétusté, avait été branché lors de l'installation aurait elle été reconnue par le protocole IPP-over-USB ?
