Il y a des problèmes d'usure accélérée avec les SSD Samsung suivant:
- 870 EVO
- 960 EVO
- 980 PRO
- 990 PRO
Une solution est proposée par Samsung, à savoir mettre à jour le firmware.
Mais, les dégâts causées, si ils sont apparues, restent.
Donc attention avec ces SSD.

Bonjour,
Le logiciel "Disques" (gnome-disk-utility), qui est un utilitaire de disques, m'a indiqué que j'avais 11 secteurs endommagés (réalloués, donc réparé) sur mon
SSD Samsung 870 evo 2.5" de 1To.
C'est à travers ce logiciel, que j'ouvre de temps à autre notamment quand je branche une clé usb, que je peux détecter un éventuel problème de secteur.
Voyant ces 11 secteurs endommagés, j'ai donc poussé l'investigation pour en savoir plus car je sais que ce qu'affiche ce logiciel n'est pas forcement la réalité du problème.
J'avais eu un problème de secteurs avec mon ancien SSD de même modèle.
J'avais ouvert un post à ce sujet (il y a 1 an):
https://debian-facile.org/viewtopic.php?id=31526Celui que j'ai actuellement est le nouveau qui fait suite à la garantie du premier que j'avais retourné au marchand pour secteurs endommagés.
Ce nouveau SSD a pile 1an d'utilisation.
J'ai donc repris les conseils de raleur de l'ancien post pour faire les scans de ce disque afin d'avoir un diagnostic plus poussé.
De ce que je constate, il y a encore plus d'erreurs que sur l'ancien qui était considéré comme à mettre à la poubelle.
Donc je présume que celui-ci aussi est bon pour un retour de garantie ou poubelle.

Note: j'ai effectué tous ces scans en étant sur le système de ce SSD. Est-ce que c'est bon de faire ça ou faut-il faire ces scans en étant sur un autre disque ?
Je souhaiterais avoir votre analyse sur ce que disent ces scans pour savoir si oui il est à retourner et si il y a d'autres infos pertinentes à connaître sur le SSD qui semble défectueux ; Savoir si c'est le SSD qui est défectueux ou si c'est une usure normale.
En fait, je ne sais pas évaluer à partir de combien d'erreur ça craint ou pas et si c'est une usure normale d'utilisation.
Autre question: est-ce que je peux, par une mauvaise pratique, détériorer ce SSD en le rendant ainsi avec ces secteurs défectueux ? Est-ce que ça vient de moi ou est-ce que j'ai juste pas de chance.
Dans l'hypothèse où je devrais le retourner à nouveau, est-ce que je dois changer de modèle voire de marque ? car ça fait 2 fois la même chose avec ce modèle en 2 ans.
Avez-vous des choses à raconter, des expériences raté/réussi sur ce sujet de SSD avec leurs problèmes de secteurs endommagés ?
En tout cas, ce modèle est clairement défaillant chez moi.
J'ai également un SSD Crucial MX500 2.5" de 1 To, avec lequel je clone mon système actuel en cas de pépin. Mais comme je le branche sur cable usb, je n'ai pas accès au smart du logiciel "Disques" et ne peux donc rien détecter. Je ne peux donc pas statuer sur lui.
EDIT: Voici le rendu effectué après un scan long de 30 minutes en étant connecté à mon système principale (mais je n'ai pas utilisé badblocks)

Je remarque qu'il y a plus d'info sur celui-ci (23 lignes) qu'avec le samsung (14 lignes), sous la partie "Vendor Specific SMART Attributes with Thresholds:"
Remarque: je ne m'en sers que comme sauvegarde aussi. je ne boot jamais dessus.
