rapport d'erreur apres installation de n'importe paquets

bonjour tous le monde
je suis nouvelle utilisateur de debian et je souffre d'un probleme quand je veux installer n'importe quel paquet
en utilisant apt-get ou avec dpkg ou gestionnaire des paquets synaptiques.
j'ai copier le rapport d'erreur que j'obtient a chaque fois sachant que j'ai tenté de corriger ce probleme avec plusieurs tentatives que j'ai trouvé sur la toile mais ca na rien donner
le message  d'erreur que j'ai obtenu quand j'ai essayer d'installer mysql-server-5.1 est le suivant:

oui j'ai instllé une version de vmware et en lancant vmware il me dit de specifier linux-header
apres g installer linux-header mais j'ai toujours des problemes et j'ai chercher sur la toile
et j'ai trouvé qu'il faut installer un patch
je l'ai installé  mais toujours rien la vmware ne se lance pas
alors qu'est ce que je peux faire ?
parce que je ne peux rien installer ni désinstaller correctement
toujours j'obtients des messages d'erreurs
note: j'ai déja installer cette version de vmware sous xubuntu et elle fonctionne sans aucun probleme
merci pour votre coopération
est ce que c'est nécéssaire de réinstaller debian?

Ton gestionnaire de paquet est dans un sale état. Mais il est toujours récupérable je pense...

Dans l'idée, la procédure à suivre est simple, il faut refaire à l'envers ce que tu as fait jusqu'à présent smile

La première chose à faire me semble être de forcer la désinstallation de vmware.

Tu commences par identifier le paquet avec qqch du genre

dpkg -l | grep -i ^vmware


Et pour chaque paquet listé, tu l'enlèves avec dpkg, quitte à forcer un peu les choses (cf. la page man)

Là, pour l'instant, le message d'erreur est tellement grand qu'il nous manque le début…

j'ai essayé la commande et elle ma affiché le message suisvant:

root@manela:/home/manela# dpkg -l | grep -i vmware
iU  xserver-xorg-video-vmware            1:11.0.1-2                        X.Org X server -- VMware display driver


alors j'ai essayer de supprimer avec dpkg -r  xserver-xorg-video-vmware
et il me retourne le message suivant:

root@manela:/home/manela# dpkg -r xserver-xorg-video-vmware
dpkg : un problème de dépendance empêche la suppression de xserver-xorg-video-vmware :
 xserver-xorg-video-all dépend de xserver-xorg-video-vmware ; cependant :

 problème de dépendance - suppression ignorée

Mhh... On dirait que tu as installé vmware sans passer par un .deb !

C'est mal, tu as corrompu ta Debian ^^"

Je te conseille de la réinstaller et de repartir sur de bonnes bases. En particulier, éviter à tout prix les installations via make / make install ou tout autre moyen autre que dpkg et apt-get/aptitude/synaptic.
