Je n'ai fait que suivre le tuto mentionné dans mon poste initial, afin de voir si ça fonctionne avant de bidouiller le tout.
Pour installer Debian via le mode Rescue, en résumé :
- On crée les partitions
- On monte les volumes dans /mnt/
- On utilise debootstrap pour installer Debian (avec /mnt comme paramètre)
- On monte les volumes /dev, /proc et /sys
- On lance chroot /mnt /bin/bash
- Et enfin on termine effectue les derniers réglages (fstab, /etc/network/interfaces, ssh, installation de grub etc).
Ceci étant, c'est juste un détail lié à l'utilisation du rescue mode. Au final, on a bien Debian installé sur les partitions créées.

Est-ce qu'il y a quelque chose d'anormal dans ces logs ? Serait-il possible que Debian démarre bien, mais ne ping pas, par exemple à cause de la configuration de mon fichier interfaces, du fichier hostname ou resolv.conf? Ou peut-être le firewall qui ne serait pas configuré ?
J'ai aussi regardé le contenu du fichier auth.log. Et j'ai :

Il semble donc que Debian soit bien lancé et que sshd écoute bien le port 22. Alors pourquoi diable je ne peux pas pinger le serveur ni me connecter via SSH?
Peut-on voir quelque part dans les logs, l'IP publique du serveur (au cas où son attribution via DHCP n'aurait pas fonctionné) ?
