[résolu]Compa M700 | ATI RAGE mobility | accélération matériel et gamm

Bonjour,
Maintenant que mon Armada tourne sur Debian 9 LXDE, j'ai un problème au démarrage, après lightDM.
L’écran semble très sombre et peu contrasté.
Je pense qu'il s'agit d'un problème de gamma car xrandr me retourne un message d'erreur a chaque fois que je le démarre.
J'ai eut ce problème avec Raspbian X86, mais ce n’était pas régulier (quand je sollicitais la carte graphique)
Je n'ai pas de soucis avec windows XP pro(hors mis que ce soit windows).

Problème de gamma résolu en installant le paquet : xserver-xorg-video-all

Malheureusement, je  n'ai toujours pas d’accélération matériel.

tu as un message du noyau qui réclame un firmware ou pas ? (je ne le pense pas avec une vieille carte mais bon ...)

J'ai lut plusieurs sujets avant de venir poser la question, et apparemment oui. smile
J'ai notamment lut que les pilotes propriétaires pouvez permettre cette accélération matérielle, et d'un autre coté que cela pouvait amener des problèmes.
Maintenant je confirme, c'est retro comme machine, et c'est d'ailleurs pour ça que je l'ai acheté! tongue

Message du noyau que je trouve dans /var/log/kern.log ?
Comment puis je le mettre en valeur?

dans le firmware "firmware-amd-graphics" tu a 3 dossiers  amdgpu , radeon et r128
le r128 contient un seul binaire pour toutes les cartes "rage 128" , je suppose aussi le "ATI Rage mobility P"

P3 et Ati Rage c'est début des années 2000 je pense

si tu donne le contenu de /var/log/Xorg.0.log


cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log
 



dans ta configuration , soit KMS fonctionne bien (noyau) et le serveur X (les paquets de xorg )
il existe un xorg.conf a créer pour régler parfois certains soucis

enfin le syslog peu donner des informations sur le kernel et ta carte vidéo

pour le firmware je dirai que son installation ne peu apporter que du mieux (au pire si il ne sert a rien je pense pas que ce soit la cause )


apt-get --reinstall install firmware-amd-graphics
 



pour ceci :

Problème de gamma résolu en installant le paquet : xserver-xorg-video-all


ce paquet est installé a l'installation de debian , donc déjà c'est louche tongue

donne nous le retour du log de X
et dans le syslog recherche dans les lignes qui commence par "kernel" et avec le nom de ton gpu  (chargement des DRM )

pour le bureau
1) soit tu fonctionne avec KMS et X
2) soit tu désactive KMS et tu utilise  uniquement X
3) soit tu utilise uniquement KMS
nota: tu a deux couches graphique , KMS au lancement du système , puis lightdm qui lance le serveur graphique.

avec les radeon il est conseillé d'avoir les deux (KMS+X)
avec amdgpu KMS uniquement le bureau est plus réactif
avec r128 je sais pas tongue

en attente de tes  réponses  smile

ce paquet est installé a l'installation de debian , donc déjà c'est louche.



En parlant d'installation, a la base, j'ai installé cinnamon.
Mon environnement préféré après gnome.
Le problème, c'est qui ne se lançait pas, j'ai finalement retiré cinnamon et installé LXDE.
J'ignore si cela peut être source de problème.
SInon je confirme qu'il n'y était pas.
