[resolu] interface wifi Broadcom 4311 non reconnue>> quel driver?

Hello,
suite à un cramage de pc portable je viens de transférer le dd dans un autre pc portable sauf que j'ai un probléme de taille: je n'arrive pas à configurer la carte wifi...
Je précise que cette machine a toujours tourner sur de l'ubuntu et très rapidement sur de la debian depuis plus de 10ans...

Ca se joue sur une buster avec xfce

L'interface wifi est:

Je précise que j'ai un bouton pour allumer/éteindre l'interface wifi et que à priori ça pose probléme...
j'utilise wicd-gtk pour la gestion des connexions

et effectivement le bouton est de marche/arret est orange... mais quand j'appuie dessus il ne passe pas au vert hmm

pour voir le pilote usée (je suppose b43, mais mieux confirmer)

Pas exactement, le driver c'est le pilote du noyau b43 surement, mais dans ces chips pourrait être le wl (broadcom-sta (non-free)) et le brcm80211, selon le modèle. En fait la même page parle de le pilote alternative en fonction du chipset. Le tien peut travailler aussi avec le wl. Le firmware c'est une partie qui parfois (ça dépende du model) est nécessaire pour que le pilote travaille correctement. 
J'ai une carte wifi pareille (une [14e4:4727]) et ça fait longtemps que j'ai du passer au wl (broadcom-sta) parce qu'il fonctionnait mal, et avec le nouveaux noyaux. Je crois que ça arriva aux alentours de le changement 3.X au 4.X: elle ne fonctionnait pas du tout avec le b43, et dès ce moment là j'ai laissé wl.

b) t'as supprimé le pilote et rechargé ( rmmod b43 && modprobe b43 ) et/ou rédémarré?

Si le firmware est déjà installé et rédémarrer ne dépanne pas , j'essayerais avec le pilote non-free (avec les sources non-free actives):

apt-get update
apt-get install broadcom-sta-dkms

Vu que le paquet vient de sid il ne serai pas mieux d'utiliser le legacy plus tot qui lui est dans les dépôts de buster?

sur buster/sid avec le noyau 4.18 si ça se trouve tu n'as même plus besoin de firmware
peut-être pour ça que la version de sid est la même que celle de stretch
ne t'occupe pas de la lumière du bouton

Ton profil dit "debian 9" (alors stretch), mieux corriger et mètre Buster si t'y est.

Non, le pilote b43 ou b43-legacy c'est choisi par le noyau,mais il me semble qu'il n'est pas chargé.

lsmod | grep b43



et si la sortie et vide, essais et poste nous la sortie

modprobe b43



et aussi la sortie de

dmesg



et celle de

ip a

avant et après de charger le module.

l'installation de cette debian a été faite à partir d'une iso de buster, ce n'est pas une stretch.

J'ai un probléme avec ce bouton acr par moment il ne repond plus et rfkill list me sort:

je viens de comprendre pour quoi le bouton ne repond plus...
comme j'ai besoin du reseau je branche le pc au reseau via le rj45... et à partir de là la bouton wifi bascule en orange et et je ne peux pas changer son état en appuyant dessus. Il me semble que ce comportement vient de wicd.
je précise que meme sans le cable branché je n'arrive pas à utiliser l'interface wifi.

Si tu redémarres le PC sans avoir le câble ethernet branché le retour des commandes ci-dessous est-il le même que celui que tu viens de nous donner ?

Je trouve bizarre que le nom de l’interface wifi soit wlan0 au lieu d’un nom du type wlpxxxxx
wlan0 c'était jusqu’a Jessie. As-tu avant de créer ton fil fait des manips ? Lesquelles ?

Je ne crois pas que ce comportement ait aucun rapport avec wicd. dmesg, dans les dernières lignes:

The hardware RF-kill button still turns the radio physically off. Press the button to turn it on.


Ça peut avoir plus de lien avec l'installation de le firmware. Pourtant le messages du noyau sont corrects, le module b43 est chargé et l'interface réseau bien crée (sauf le comportement bizarre du nom 'wlan0'

Oui, et c'est bizarre. Et l'option 'net.ifnames=0' ne semble pas être dans les paramètres d'amorçage du noyau, puisque la carte réseau ethernet a un nom "nouveau". Ça pourrait venir du module b43.

Bonne question.

Je méfie de wicd (configuration, etc). Pour écarter il va falloir essayer la carte sans wicd, et configurer l'interface avec le service général networking: interfaces : configuration WiFi. Le cas ordinaire c'est WPA / WPA2 .
Avant, il faut stopper le service wicd:

systemctl stop wicd

hello @ll

grace à vos messages j'ai finit par réussir à me dépatouillé... en fait ma debian date de ...et bien ça fait pas mal d'années qu'elle est sur ce dd et du coup j'ai fait des dist-upgrade plusieurs fois... L'interface wifi est nomée wlan0 c'est resté comme avant (ville versio nde debian) alors que je suis sur stretch. Ca a fait perdre les pédales à wicd qui était par defaut sur un wlpxxxxx...

un truc idiot mais logique finalement...
