Il n'y a rien pour Raling et parce-que tu n'as pas rempli infodistri, on ne peut pas savoir, si ce lien donné par Z. est destiné pour toi. En fait on sait même pas pour quelle architecture est destiné ce tuto (probablement pour .all) ni quelle architecture utilise tu ?

Quand tu aurais encore ce problème, tu pourrais "essayer" ndiswrapper:

Pour le sources.list, c'est en fait cette page que j'ai utilisé pour le configurer

Effectivement, je n'avais pas vu la section infodistri.
Rapidement, j'ai un portable MSI GX640, Intel Core i5-450M, ATI Radeon HD5850 / 1GB DDR5, RAM 4GB DDR3, HDD 500GB. Ma carte wifi qui pose problème, awus036h de chez Alpha.

Mon architecture x64 avec debian en x64

J'avais déjà essayé ndiswrapper mais je ne sais pas si cela à faire une différence.

J'ai refait la commande cat /var/log/messages | grep firmware

Je ne suis pas expert mais je vois toujours qu'il demande rt2870.bin. Quand j'ai téléchargé manuelement le firmware-ralink, j'ai bien vu un fichier rt2870.bin mais je n'ai pas su quoi en faire...

Comment l'installer?

PS : pour l'autre périphérique (iwlwifi-5000-2.ucod), c'est mon wifi intégré. Je m'en contente pour le moment puisqu'il marche mais très lentement. De toute façon, une fois ma carte externe installé, je n'en aurrait plus besoin

PPS : Pour network manager, je vois le SSID dans "Available". Quand je clique dessus, il passe sous wlan0 (mon wifi intégré). Pour forcer le wlan1, j'ai fait "Connect to an hidden network". J'ai séléctionné wlan1 avec la config que j'ai mise pour le wlan0 (clé wpa, adresse ip, etc...) mais toutes les 30secs, il me redemande la clé. J'ai aussi ce problème quand je ne suis plus à porté avec mon wifi intégré. Comment donc savoir si il me redemande la clé car je n'ai pas les autorisations (mac adress, ... ) où parce qu'il ne voit pas le SSID, ou un problème de pilote, etc... ?

J'ai effectué des essais avec ma clé wifi usb (d-link dwa-110). J'ai également une erreur de fichier manquant rt73.bin. Mais aucun souci pour me connecter.

Ouf, j'ai cru que je n'allais pas pourvoir me reconnecter... mais j'ai déduit que rmmod était l'inverse de modprobe donc "modprobe iwlagn"

Je n'ai pas compris s'il fallait mettre l'ip de la box ou celle de ma carte donc j'ai testé les deux. Je me doute bien qu'il fallait celle de la carte mais aucune modification.

Une chose qui me trouble c'est que je ne vois aucun SSID avec ma carte usb :S . Je ne pense pas que ce soit un problème d'accès à la box, surtout que j'ai retiré les sécurités pour faire les tests, mais plutôt un problème de reconnaissance matériel. Bizarre que la diode a cessé de s'allumer en permanance (donc que la carte est reconnu) mais qu'elle n'affiche aucun SSID.

J'avais effectivement remarqué le module rt2870sta en tappant "modprobe rt" + TAB

Cela n'a rien donné, au moment où je fait "up" pour wlan1, il ne trouve pas la carte.

Je viens de réessayer un tuto pour installer le driver rtl8187. Dabord, j'essaye de démarer le module mais j'ai un message d'erreur :

Du nouveau, je viens de booter sur mon livecd de ubuntu 9.04 (que je n'aurrais jamais installé d'ailleurs...) et devienez quoi... ma carte est reconnu et se connecte sans aucun problème... Ca me ferait mal d'avoir à passer sur ubuntu rien que pour le wifi.

Le fait que j'ai installé debian, sans la carte branchée, a-t-il changé quelque chose?
Si je n'arrive à rien, je retenterai carte branchée.

Partez pas, je suis tout pret du but!!

Je vous ecrit depuis mon live cd d'ubuntu.

Après avoir beaucoup appris ici, j'ai commencé à trifouiller un peu dans les modules. Sous ubuntu, j'ai fait un lsmod et après avoir lu toute la liste, j'ai remarqué rt2870sta... avec le chiffre 1 a coté signifiant qu'une chose l'utilisait. J'ai donc stoppé ce module et là... plus de carte dans le network manager! un petit modprobe et.... le revoila!

L'interface s'appelle ra0 sur ubuntu. Alors ma derniere question (si si) pourquoi, sur debian, quand j'ai activé ce module, la carte n'a pas fonctionnée?

Je suis en train de réinstaller debian en ce moment même et j'essayerai, en attendant une réponse, de rmmod des modules qui pourraient rentrer en conflit.

J'avais en même temps que toi pensé à utiliser un livecd, backtrack en l'occurence, dont le support des cartes wifi est important.

Sur un modèle presque équivalent à ta clé wifi, j'avais cru comprendre que le module rt2870sta était plutôt dédié au surf, alors que le module rt2870usb serait utilisé pour l'injection de paquets tcp dans l'utilitaire aircrack.

Il serait interessant que tu regardes (nous retournes) en effet les modules actifs sous ton livecd, et également ceux blacklistés dans /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf

Après 4 heures de tatonage et de traductions des tutoriels anglais.... ma carte fonctionne!!

Il y avait 2 problèmes :

- il fallait installer le firmware-ralink ( a confirmer quand meme )
- il fallait blacklister rt2800usb, au lieu de le lancer

Donc :
- echo blacklist rt2800usb >> /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf
- aptitude install firmware-ralink

Voila dans l'ordre que je les ai fait.

Cela à fonctionné ensuite à l'installation du pilote. Mais avant le reformatage, bien qu'il y soit, cela ne fonctionnait pas. J'en déduit qu'il fallait faire ces 2 choses. De plus, j'ai fait un depmod -a et update-initdfs -u (aucune idée si cela à changer quelque chose) pour le blacklist, mais c'est ce qu'il disait de faire dans le tuto.

Pour finir, ma carte fonctionne maintenant à merveille et je suis super content.
Merci à toutes les personnes qui m'ont aidé, à mes sponsors qui m'on soutenu tout au long de cet aventure et à mon hamster pour avoir subit toutes mes crises devant l'ordi (je rigole!).

Merci bcp bcp bcp à tous maintenant je vais pouvoir profiter pleinement de mon nouveau OS tout neuf, fini windows!!!

Pour backtrack, en effet, j'en ai souvent entendu parlé pendant mes recherches, bien que je connaissait de nom cette distrib car, ma carte est une de 500mW avec plein de fonctionne comme l'injection, motoring etc... donc très connu des bidouilleurs du wifi

moi je voulais juste une carte qui ai de la "sauce", sous windows mais maintenant que je suis sur linux et que j'ai découvert ces fonctions, je crois que je vais bien m'amuser
