Quand je parle du bureau c'est d'activer son usage, icônes, dossiers, etc.

Graphiquement ma Debian Sid tourne au poil, j'utilise un Asus Zenbook de 2013 ou 14 et une tour HPZ230 avec une RX560. J'ai été longtemps sur Ubuntu LTS, j'avais oublié Debian, mais aujourd'hui je ne vois plus l'intérêt de Ubuntu. smile

Bonjour,

Je suis peut-être un peu con, mais je ne trouve aucune solution pour remettre le bureau en marche sur Gnome-Shell 41. Je tourne sur une version Sid, et mon impression est que cela est maintenant impossible. Mais impossible n'est pas Linux. smile Donc, si quelqu'un a réussit, je veux bien quelques explications.

Salut à tous,

Après quelques années de péchés, je ne suis refait une installation de Debian sous Sid.

Si ma mémoire est bonne seul 1 dépôt existe, exemple :

deb http://ftp.fr.debian.org/debian/ sid main contrib non-free



Mais pour les dépôts update ou security, comment ça se passe justement pour la sécurité ?
Sid a t-il des mises à jour de sécurité, j'aimerais bien comprendre le fonctionnement.

J'espère qu'une bonne âme saura m'éclairer. smile

Effectivement pour le make je me suis refais un portable fanless Asus sous Debian Sid et c'est top. Mes slicers fonctionnent, FreeCAD et même Blender. Inkscape fait le taff pour la découpe laser. Pour le code j'ai mis Sublime Text, seul Safari me manque comme navigateur. big_smile

C'est vraiment agréable, stable et rapide, la machine était à bout de souffle sous Windows 10. J'ai ajouté les dépôts non-free et contrib pour le support machine et c'est au poil ! Même sur batterie j'ai une autonomie de folie par rapport à Windows.

Je ne sais pas pourquoi j'ai oublié Debian quelques années, Ubuntu franchement n'apporte rien.

Bonjour à tous,

Pour lancer MJPG-Streamer, je tape dans mon terminal la commande suivante :

cd /home/pi/mjpg-streamer/mjpg-streamer-experimental/ && ./mjpg_streamer -i "./input_raspicam.so -fps 5" -o "./output_http.so -w ./www"



J'utilise mon ordinateur en SSH donc j'ai mis cette commande au démarrage dans /etc/rc.local

Bref ça fonctionne, mais après quelques jours j'ai voulu me connecter directement sur l'ordi physiquement avec son écran. Ma commande dans le rc.local fait que je n'arrive pas sur ma console où ça doit afficher : benjamin@monordi:~$ (oui, je n'utilise pas d'interface graphique) Il reste sur [OK] started hostname service... Pourtant en SSH tout fonctionne nickel.

Auriez-vous une solution ? && Merci d'avance :-)

J'ai effectué pas mal de recherche, et il faut Sid, avec un gel des mises à jours si tout va bien. Pour garantir la stabilité, personnellement je vais tester une installation sur une carte SD ou clé, avant de passer au SSD. D'ailleurs le TRIM est il bien pris en charge par Debian ?

J'ai tapé cette commande pour vérifier l'accélération :

Donc c'est activé, mais l'interface lag, impossible de lire une vidéo sous VLC ou autre. Bref je ne comprends pas.

Oui j'ai pris un portable full Intel car c'est souvent bien géré sur GNU/Linux.

J'ai testé Ubuntu 10.04 LTS et la 15.04 sous Gnome 3 et Unity 7 aucun problème, ça fonctionne super bien. Donc là il doit avoir une subtilité.

J'ai mis les dépôts avec les non-free, donc j'ai mis aussi les firmwares non-free sinon j'ai pas le Wifi.

Oui en effet c'est installé, je ne l'avais pas fait, mais ça ne change rien du tout. Si je bouge une fenêtre ça lag toujours.

En fait je n'ai aucune accélération graphique. C'est con, mais ça fonctionne sur Ubuntu, donc ça doit le faire aussi sur Debian.

Bonjour à tous,

Après quelques déboires avec Ubuntu, je suis penché sur Debian 8 nouvellement sorti avec l'interface Gnome par défaut. J'y ai tout trouvé pour mes pilotes, mais mon interface graphique reste hyper lente, lags etc. Impossible de lire une vidéo sous VLC par exemple.

Je pense avoir zappé quelques chose, mais je ne sais pas quoi. Avez vous une petite idée pour m'aider ? Il est basé sur un Intel Core M.
