[clos] résolution en 1024*768*76hz sur écran uhd

ce matin , vilaine  surprise :
sans avoir rien fait de particulier , l'écran , à l'allumage , est passé en 1024 x 768 .

normalement , c'est un écran uhd  et il est parfaitement reconnu .

xrandr devrait indiquer les sorties de la carte graphique (VGA-0, DP-1, HDMI-2...) or ce n'est pas le cas ici donc je soupçonne aussi un problème de pilote/KMS.
Regarde dans les logs du noyau (drm|amdgpu) et de Xorg.

Il vaut mieux montrer que raconter.

ton dossier /lib/firmware/amdgpu  existe mais "cp: impossible d'évaluer '/lib/firmware/updates/amdgpu': Aucun fichier ou dossier de ce type"
donc le souci c'est que le noyau démarre sans le firmware vue que inittramfs échoue , je sais pas réparer ça.

tout est correct du coté dépôt (bien que son sources.list est exotique)
le firmware est bien installé et la bonne version (sid)

ensuite peut être un nettoyage des paquets hors "debian" sid mais a faire avec précaution .
a force de jouer avec les noyaux ............  hmm

sinon je sais pas la raison de ce retour d'erreur

je ne peux pas  vous le fournir .
je crois qu'il fait à peu près 5000 lignes.

je sais pas si tu a avancé sur les paquets obsolet , mais ça va pas résoudre le souci actuel
commande pour mettre a jour initramfs


sudo update-initramfs -u
 



voir ce que répond le système
ps: tes versions sont bonnes , le noyau aussi , ton sources.list correct , le cache apt est a jour
ton firmware est installé
tu peu démarrer sur le noyau de stable (puisque tu la encore installé) et tenter une réinstallation du noyau et headers aussi
a priori personne pour te conseiller et moi je suis limiter sur ce genre de problème

ps: tu a tout purgé même le noyau de stable ?

peut être changer le titre , firmware amd pas d uptate inittramfs
mais bon tu a fait quelque chose pour en arriver la  roll

Il y a eu des mises à jour de paquets récemment ? A vérifier dans /var/log/apt/history.log

Autres vérifications :

ls -l /lib/firmware/updates
lsinitramfs /boot/initrd.img-5.14.0-4-amd64 | grep firmware



Expérience :
- démarre en mode recovery
- au shell root,

Voir si /lib/firmware/updates existe et son type (répertoire, lien symbolique...) étant donné que update-initramfs affiche une erreur de copie le concernant.

mais on va le laisser répondre smile

Il n'existe pas chez moi non plus mais il doit pouvoir exister dans certains cas car update-initramfs va fouiller dedans.

C'est comme ça depuis l'"usr merge" (buster), et c'est bien pris en compte par update-initramfs.
Idem pour /bin, /libx32, /lib64 et /sbin.

j'ai réinstallé mon systeme depuis zero .

upgrades bullseye -> testing  et  testing -> sid

j'ai retrouvé mon bureau .

je n'ai plus qu'à tout reparamétrer .

Si tu veux bien te divertir avec mon problème de pavé numérique sous Buster qui se désactive à l'ouverture de mon mot de passe , j'ai posté un message aujourd'hui à ce sujet.

je suis sur "autre" sur le forum , pour tester "Candle" sur une install i386 (il fonctionne mais sans menu ........ ) donc pas très utile
pour grub , résolu parce que j'ai 2 disques amd64 et i386 , mais a chaque install avec 2 disques je me loupe grub s'installe mal sur le second

oui , j'ai été très con sur cette affaire .

je croyais ma machine cassée .

alors , que , çà se trouve , une simple  commande m'aurai sorti d'affaire .

c'est çà l'impatience .
parfois çà se paye . cher .
