The update to the Linux kernel included in the recent point release of Debian 8 "jessie" unfortunately caused it to crash at boot on some systems with more than one CPU socket.
This update resolves that issue. If you are affected by the problem, we strongly recommend that you install this update. As a temporary workaround, you should be able to boot an affected system by adding "numa=off" to the boot parameters. For example, if you use the GRUB boot loader you can press E at the boot menu and add "numa=off" to the line that begins with "linux".
NUMA et SMP étant liés au multiprocesseur.
Il vaut mieux montrer que raconter.
