AMD TURKS (DRM 2.50.0 / 5.4.0-37-generic, LLVM 9.0.1)

Comme dit voir les retours (poste les )

# dmesg

$ cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log

utilise aussi

top

pour voir les processus et leur utilisation

ou l'utilitaire

# glances

System Requirements

Before attempting to install the AMD Catalyst™ Proprietary Linux Graphics Driver, the following software must be installed:

    Xorg/Xserver 7.4 and above (up to 1.17)
Linux kernel 2.6 or above (up to 3.19)
    glibc version 2.2 or 2.3
POSIX Shared Memory (/dev/shm) support is required for 3D applications

As tu essayé les pilotes Mesa ?

(a voir )

@ anonyme :
oui, Gimp me fait bien monter la charge CPU ...
@ Debian Alain :

https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/LightDM

dans l'ordre d'affichage tu as :

1) le bios (son P.O.S.T.)
2) le grub
3) le kernel
4) lightdm
5) ton bureau

echo $XDG_SESSION_TYPE  && echo $XDG_SESSION_DESKTOP && echo $XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP
