Yop ... cela fait un mois que j'ai ce PC .... et  ... pourquoi devrai je changer de carte ?

Franchement, si cette carte comme ce CPU posai des soucis, ne croit sincèrement pas que j'aurai des problèmes avec d'autres distro ?

Là, je suis sous Ubuntu .... histoire de voir si vraiment j'ai des soucis ... et elle tourne comme une horloge ....

donc , je sais pas .
ton chipset est il un peu trop vieux (fin de série sûrement) ?...
ldlc fait il de la vente forcée ? ... (B450 au minimum)

Simplement que je n'arrive pas à comprendre pourquoi on viens me dire que mon matos est ""vieux"", pas bien ou que sait je encore .... MDR

Quand j'ai commencer à lire que vous disiez que mon matos aurai un petit souci, je me suis mis à installer plein d'autres distro, dont une Arch, réputé le plus C*** à installer ... lui même c'était installé comme une fleur smile

J'ai installé sans aucun souci, Manjaro, qui est une de mes distro de base, OpenSuse Tumbleweed, Fedora Rawhide, KDENeon, Mint, Sabayon, la dernière aujourd'hui, Ubuntu, sous laquelle je suis ... et toutes ont démarré et se sont installé sans bronché.

D'où mon questionnement, semble toute, assez logique : pourquoi elles s'installent toutes bien ... et pas Debian ?

J'essaye de comprendre, et n'allez surtout pas croire que je vous envoi sur les roses hein, c'est tout le contraire, je vous lit, vous écoute, et j'ai un peu difficile de comprendre la tournure que prend ce topic lol

ben , Gérinald , quand je t'ai entendu mentionner la M.A.J. du bios , je suis allé regarder sur le site de ton fabricant .

j'ai trouvé cet avertissement que je t'ai mentionné .

vu tes problèmes  avec debian et vu l'avertissement pour le bios , je me suis demandé si tu n'avais pas  eu tort de faire la M.A.J.

j'ai fait quelques recherches et j'ai trouvé que les chipset séries "300" étaient limite .

anonyme supporte un ryzen 3 sur une B350  , donc , en théorie , ta carte doit pouvoir le faire  aussi .

j'ai trouvé , il y a qques temps , un graphique qui montrait très bien les différents chipsets et les différentes générations de  cpu compatibles .
(mais je le retrouve plus)

je ne tire pas le B450 / 550 de mon chapeau .

sur un cas analogue (une B320, je crois) , j'avais  orienté un gars vers une B450 .
il m'a  écouté et s'en est très bien trouvé .
lui aussi avait une carte mère toute neuve et son revendeur  a accepté de faire l'opération pour une some très faible (13 € je crois mais je ne sais plus pour la main d'oeuvre)

voilà mes réflexions .

maintenant , en effet , c'est  curieux . çà fonctionne avec toutes les distribs sauf debian : bizzarre  .

là , je sèche ...

çà doit être un truc tout con . ou vachement tordu .

p.s.: tu n'es pas en uefi  mais en legacy . donc , normalement , ton disque doit être partitionné en "dos"  .
dos / mbr ne supporte que des disques de maxi 2 To .
avec au maxi 4 partition primaires ou 3 partitions primaires + 1 étendue (et donc presque autant de partitions logiques que l'on veut)

Comme je t'ai dit, il n'y  pas de malaise, et je te remercie d'avoir fait des recherches pour tenter d'éclaircir ce petit souci smile

Pour le reste, à voir si Père Noêl aurai assez d'argent dans sa besace pour me payer une carte mère B450 ... mais je doute, comme tout le monde, le portefeuille à les fesses très serrée ... lol

Rien que pour me payer ce PC, j'ai économisé durant quasi un an ... et là, étant proprio, j'ai des frais maison qui passe avant tout smile

Là, je suis au taf, je ne serai en télétravail que à partir de demain, j'aurai donc un peu plus de temps pour vérifier deux trois truc qui me trotte en tête smile

Au fait, personne ne peux se dire "spécialiste", juste partagé les connaissances et expériences que nous avons tous acquis au fil du temps qui passe wink

pour ta carte mère , en toute logique , je pense à une B450 mais je ne peux pas l'affirmer .

la preuve , anonyme arrive à faire tourner un proc similaire sur une B350 . donc , sais pas .

ah oui , pour la petite note , j'aime beaucoup ASUS , souvent gage de  qualité .
mais c'est pas les moins chers , malheureusement ...

si tu as un budget serré , faudrai trouver  une sous - marque tout aussi fiable .
mais là faudra demander au sav de ldlc , parce que , moi , connais pas .

quand mme , je suis d'accord avec toi : si toutes les distribs (dont arch) fonctionnent sauf debian ...

c'est qu'il y a un os chez debian .

normalement , ta C.M. est bonne . et anonyme le prouve avec une B350 , donc , y a un os chez debian .
çà doit être tout con . ou tordu à souhait .

que donne le live de testing ? il plante aussi ?

Hey Debian Alain .. toi tu a lu dans ma pensée ... lol:lol:

Quand j'ai dit que j'avais un truc ou deux qui me trottai en tête, oui, c'était exactement à cela que je pensai ... et il me tardé de rentré à la maison pour tester cette idée .... qui s'avère positive smile

J'ai téléchargé au hasard une ISO, c'était une Mate .... mis sur clé USB, booté dessus ... et bingo .... arrivé sur le bureau sans encombre et ne me pose aucun souci smile

C'est donc bien sur les ISO Debian qu'il y a un pépin.

Aujourd’hui pas le temps, vais essayer demain, mais j'ai déjà une tonne de visio-conférence, à la rigueur ce week-end ... déjà bien content de commencer à cerner le souci smile

content  que tu réussisses enfin à voir le bout du tunnel .

tu fais comme tu veux mais je te déconseilles d'utiliser calamarès pour installer testing bullseye 11 .

relance le disque et utilise plutôt l'installation graphique .

calamarès à une forte tendance à tout installer dans une seule partition . (+ la swap)

pour les débutants , effectivement , çà simplifie beaucoup les choses mais en cas  de souci , on peut tout perdre d'un coup parfois très facilement pour 3 fois rien ...

si tu sais partitionner toi mme ton disque , tu peux peut être utiliser  calamarès . mais c'est beaucoup plus simple avec l' installation graphique . et plus sûr .

Ce n'est pas la Testing que j'ai essayé, mais la Buster ... et elle fonctionne assez bien, juste que je vais prendre Gnome .... j’apprécie pas trop mate ... lol lol

Ahhh les joies du partitionnement à la mano, tu me fait revenir quinze ans en arrière là .... lol .. qu'est ce que j'en ai fait de ces partitionnements .... smile

Maintenant, je suis devenu ""Fainéant"", et laisse faire l'automatisme, sauf quand j'installe Arch ... mais je lui préfère maintenant Manjaro, lui aussi avec Calamares smile

Calamares est un super programme, certes capricieux, mais quand on le connais, il est excellent, et tu n'est pas obligé de le laisser faire, son programme interne pour partitionner fonctionne très bien smile

Pour les crash .... aucun fichier sur mon DD ... nada ... tout est sur cloud professionelle (100 Go), couplé en miroir à deux DD externes ... smile

C'est pour cette raison que mes SSD n'excède jamais les 240 Go smile

Hello Debian-Alain,

Bon, la tentation fût plus forte, pas eu envie d'attendre smile

Installation de la Live Gnome :

Via install en mode graphique, on reviens au même stade que via un ISO normal, j'ai exactement le même problème que depuis le début de ce post.

Je relance la clé USB, et prend le parti  de l'install via Calamares : installation en côte à côte de Ubuntu, comme ça, j'ai la distro mère et le fork l'un à côté de l'autre.

A noter que dès le début de la mise en route jusque au bureau, que ce soit via l'USB et une fois installer, je n'ai que une vue complètement flouée, avec des signes hiéroglyphe qui passe de temps en temps ... bref, impossible de voir quoique ce soit ... jusque à l'arrivée sur le bureau ou là, plus aucun souci.

Bon, là, je te fait le test demandé, je viens juste de faire l'installation et pas encore les mises à jours wink

essaie donc avec un live debian testing bullseye (11) .

ou alors avec le noyau des backports (testing bullseye adapté à stable  buster)

si vraiment tu tiens à tout prix à stable buster .

Hello Debian Alain,

Installation de Bullseye en Live effectué.

Comme les autres, impossible de passer en mode graphique, obligé de passer par Calamares pour une installation.

Ce Live m'a fait un peut peur, il a mis un temps fou pour arriver sur le bureau, le tout sous écran noir ... j'ai cru qu'il était planté, mais au bout de cinq six minutes, le bureau est enfin arrivé.

Une fois installé, c'est très fluide, boot très rapide, assez agréable .... je vais donc voir à m'amuser un peu avec avant de me définir ... pour l'instant, l'ensemble me semble correct smile

J'ai fait une recherche sur le forum, et apparemment, c'est une maladie du Live.

est ce que tu as les backports dans tes  sources ?

si oui : 

apt install --reinstall -t buster-backports firmware-amd-graphics

à taper en root ou avec sudo



si non :

apt install --reinstall firmware-amd-graphics

pareil : commande root ou sudo



note : pour passer  root :

sudo -i


pour quitter root :

exit

ou aussi "ctrl  d"


pour verifier :

sudo dpkg -l firmware-amd-graphics



regarde les -- versions du firmware --

On dirai que cela va déjà beaucoup mieux en effet, j'ai redémarré le PC et je n'ai plus ces sigles cabalistique et l'image déformée, j'ai eu en prime le visuel de la page GDM Debian avant d'arriver sur le bureau, ce que je n'avais pas jusque maintenant.

Tes efforts pour m'aider ne sont donc pas vain, que du contraire et je t'en remercie smile

Mais qu'est ce qu'il ne faut pas faire pour en arriver là sur une Debian .... ça, c'est pas logique.
