modification résolution gdm3

bonjour
je  cherche à modifier la résolution de  gdm3 (login) .

trouvé ceci : (par exemple)

mais la simple copie du fichier monitors.xml ne suffit pas .

en clair  mon écran est réglé à sa résolution native .

sur le bureau  j'ai un peu augmenté la taille des polices  et c'est maintenant très bien .

mais au login , l'écran (la résolutin)  est vraiment trop petit .

difficile de voir clair .

j'aurai bien aimé avoir un bureau 4K (c'est bon)  et un login 2K (c'est pas le cas) .
çà aurai été très pratique . et très commode .

avec GDM, tu peux utiliser les outils d'accessibilité pour augmenter la taille du texte

en tout cas, la copie du fichier de conf à toujours fonctionné

cp ~user/.config/monitors.xml ~Debian-gdm/.config/monitors.xml



par contre, je ne sais pas à quelle moment les modifications sont prises en comptes

mais peut être faut il annuler la modification de la taille de la police que j'ai fait sur mon bureau ?

non , j'ai tout essayé , rien ne fonctionne .

mon login est systématiquement bloqué en 4K .

je sais pas  si  çà peut aider :

le serveur X est lancé a l'invite de connexion
un xorg.conf du genre (a mettre dans /etc/X11/xorg.conf )

mais a priori tu n'est pas intéresser par cette méthode
tu a 4 sections a renseigner pour au moins un écran (celui ou tu veut modifier la résolution par défaut )
le second peu rester en automatique
reste a savoir comment revenir en 4K sur le bureau
mais tu peu tester pour voir déjà si ton invite de connexion est a la bonne résolution
en tout cas en multi-écran , le xorg.conf est utile pour personnaliser la configuration

donc mon invite de connexion est bien en 1600x1200  ainsi que mon bureau
reste a savoir si il est possible de revenir en 4k sur le bureau après avoir entrer ton mot de passe

moralité utilisé le xorg.conf n'est pas un mal , le mode auto est pratique pour qui veut faire simple
quand tu vois toutes les options possibles parfois pratique  wink

nota: mon exemple de xorg.conf est basic il peu être modifier "et ou" améliorer
