@èfpé : Quand j'allume l'imprimante puis le PC, j'obtiens une imprimante (et scanner) fonctionnelle. Si l'imprimante n'est pas allumée et que je démarre le PC, lorsqu'ensuite j'allume l'imprimante, elle est bien détectée et une fenêtre s'affiche pour la configurer mais le problème c'est que la configuration proposée est avec hplip et ça ne fonctionne pas (pas d'impression).
J'ai essayé de configurer l'imprimante avec hp-setup, je n'ai pas de message d'erreur, pas de demande d'installation de plugin

J'ai quand même installé le plugin car quand je passe par la fenêtre de configuration de l'impression de Xfce, j'ai l'indication d'un paquet supplémentaire à installer avec Logiciel qui évidement ne trouve rien à installer.

Je voudrais obtenir une imprimante fonctionnelle même lorsque je l'allume après avoir démarré la session sur le PC.
Sous windows, l'imprimante avait juste été branchée sur USB et reconnue, je n'ai pas utilisé les outils HP pour la configurer.
Bref, la configuration fonctionnelle, sans hplip, lorsque l'imprimante est allumée avant le PC n'est pas configurée/mémorisée et si je l'allume après, je n'arrive pas à faire à la main cette configuration qui fonctionne sans hplip .
Je précise que j'attends longtemps et que rien ne se passe puisque le système me demande de configurer l'imprimante qu'il détecte lorsque je l'allume mais la configuration utilise hplip ce qui ne va pas.

Et c'est sans doute pour ça que ça fonctionne quand j'allume l'imprimante puis le PC. Mais comment faire pour configurer de façon pérenne une imprimante en mode driverless, de façon à ce que je puisse l'utiliser même si je ne l'ai pas allumée avant le PC ? Quand je clique sur l'imprimante HP Deskjet 2700 détectée, ça impose hplip.
