C'est un vieux monsieur, qui a été très mal conseillé par un supermarché. Je ne dis pas l'enseigne.
Une arnaque. Pure et simple.
Windows 10 S, des gens qui ont tripatouillé dessus... et ça plantait. Pas la moindre donnée à sauvegarder : il n'y avait rien dessus.

Reste à la connecter, pour être sûr. Et je te donne le retour.

Donc, selon toi, dmseg n'a détecté aucune erreur.

le noyau officiel pour testing , c'est le  5.4 et le  4.19 pour buster .

Je rencontre la même ligne d'erreur que toi mais mon firmware Atheros est bien installé et mon wifi fonctionne parfaitement.
J'ai pas mal chercher mais je n'ai jamais trouvé de réponses efficace.

Pour le firmware atheros, j'ai un dell xps avec la même carte, les cartes atheros sont globalement très bien supporté sous linux (je dirais du même niveau que les cartes intel, de mon expérience).

Cependant c'est une carte qui vien souvent est connectée en pci et utilise le modulee ath10k_pci, et il y a une partie qui s'appelle le precall
(qui est aussi un firmware, qui normalement est installé par le paquet firmware-atheros  (mais le kernel debian le trouve pas)

Ce qui est étrange c'est que sur mon xps recompiler un kernel upstream avec un olddefconfig du kernel de debian (même le 4.19, pas forcement un kernel plus récent),
en rebootant je n'avais plus l'erreur (et n'ayant pas installé de nouveau firmware c'est pour ça que je pense qu'il est bien présent par le paquet de firmware debian).

Après le precall n'est pas nécessaire au fonctionnement global de la carte voir https://unix.stackexchange.com/question … 0k-cal-pci

Sinon pour la carte ethernet, j'ai regardé le contenu du paquet firmware-realtek et je conseilles de l'installer avec

apt install firmware-realtek

après avoir ajouter les depôts nonfree, si ce n'est pas déjà fait.
Edit : c'est possible qu'il soit déjà installé j'ai l'impression et que ce n'étais pas un message d'erreur, il y a pas toute la coloration.

Pour intel, je conseilles d'installer le microcode processeur intel-microcode et le paquet firmware-misc-nonfree (mais ça a déjà été dit).

Problème : pas pu installer le microcode Intel.
Ni avec dpkg, depuis le paquet téléchargé ici : https://packages.debian.org/fr/buster/intel-microcode
ni même avec Synaptic.
Avec dpkg, ça plantait même Synatptic...

Je vais re-vérifier.

1- Précision, sans doute inutile, mais si ça peut servir à quelq'un...
Le touchpad ne fonctionnait pas.
Lors de mes recherches, j'ai vu passer ici une intervention de Chalu.

En fait, aucun problème de driver du touchpad. Il était désactivé avec la touche F7 hmm
Ces fichus portables !

2- le paquet intel-microcode est-il indispensable ? Là, je ne sais pas du tout.

Pour une bonne gestion de l'energie avec ton processeur, le microcode intel est conseillé. Pour juste un fonctionnement, il n'est pas nécessaire.

Globalement à part les messages du firewall normaux si la configuration est celle souhaitée, je ne vois plus rien d'alarmant dans le dmesg de ton dernier post.

Avec apt-get :
Le paquet intel-microcode n'a pas de version susceptible d'être installée".
Synaptic ne le voit pas.

C'est un problème de sources.list, ça ...
Maintenant, je comprends que, installé via dpkg-i, ça foirait : dépendances non satisfaites, malgré apt install -f .

J'ai mal fagoté mon sources.list. sad
